Speaking as someone who served two tours in VN. Perhaps the DUmmie could explain the 99% who came home and lived successful normal lives. Both this individual and Hopalong Bob served in non-combat roles and have no business speaking on the subject. Trump, who aims to be Commander in Chief, has a realistic and compassionate take on the subject.
It is my contention that the majority who come home from any war with problems, went over with problems. In other words, they were "weak" and, if they were put in a position they couldn't handle, they deserve treatment and care. We would and do serve them better by identifying them before deploying them and assign them to non-combat roles as they did with Bob and this slacker.
