Hi, gang. Been a while since I was here.
I have a story. I once bred and raised German Rottweilers. Had a beautiful sire, named Floyd. Best dog ever.
One day, my neighbor's young wife came sobbing to my front door. I asked her in. When I inquired, she told me that her Dad, a real piece of work, sold her dog to a Crack Dealer for some drugs. I asked her where the dog was kept, and she offered to show me.
We drove a few miles to a secluded old shack of a house. In the front yard, I see a huge female Rottie, chained to a large oak tree. Gorgeous dog.
Her chain was so short she could not reach her water bowl. she was walking aroung in feces, and bugs were tormenting the poor dog. I told the girl to keep driving. We went back to my house, in silence. I was livid.
When I got out of the car, she asked me what I planned to do. "Better for you to not know," I replied.
She left, as I went inside, grabbed my Smith .40, and my truck keys.
I arrived at the Dirtbag Motor Lodge, walked straight to the door, and knocked loudly.
The scumbag peeked out of the door. "Go away", he said. You could tell he was goggle eyed.
"I just wanted you to know that I am taking that poor abused dog home with me."
"Hell no you don't. You can't have my dog", he said.
"Fella, I wasn't asking. I am taking."
"He flung open the door, and holding a ball bat, he said, "Over my dead body!"
I pulled my pistol and pushed it an inch from his nose. "Have it your way", I said.
"Fine." Take the ***CH! I do not care about her."
"Obviously", I replied. I walked over and released the dog, put her in the cab of my truck, and away we went.
I scrubbed for two hours to get that dog clean. Fed her, flea dipped her, put her back in the truck, to show my neighbor.
She said she could not keep the dog. Her lease forbade animals. I owned my home, and asked her for permission to keep the dog. She told me to wait, and went back in her home. When she came out, she had the dog's UKC papers.
Roxy, and I, went to Pet Smart. I walked her around and let her pick her own food and treats. Got a few other things and left.
She and Floyd gave me several litters of fine German Pedigreed Pups. When I gave her and her husband half the profits of their first litter, she hugged my neck and said that knowing her dog was well treated and loved, was all she wanted, but I insisted they take the money as payment for the mother. She said 2200 bucks was too much, but I told her that Roxy was well worth the money, just because she was such a sweet dog.
I am a large and well trained fighter. It is never a good idea to mess with someone's dog, where I can find out.
