Enthusiast (39,692 posts) 22. As children we often rescued baby bunnies from our dog and cat.We fed them just like that. We turned them loose once they were big enough. Cute little ****ers.

I have spent all after noon working on a bunny condo where I can keep 6 female bunnies and their spawn. I plan on eating all the spawn. Am I adding to the bunny Armageddon?
Ted Kennedy is the only person with an actual confirmed kill in the war on women.
Okay, then . . . Our resident bunny-hater has shown that bunnies can easily be cute, and that bunnies have musical talent.WTF have ptarmigans done?
-In the olden days, the Sámi people (also known as the Lapps, the people inhabiting the northernmost areas of Scandinavia [Lapland] ) used to hang a pair of ptarmigan wings over a baby girl's cradle to protect her (and later, "to make her a pure and chaste young woman"). -Ptarmigans, like many other birds, are thought to be messengers of the dead. If a ptarmigan is seen perched on the top of a house, it's believed that someonein the house is about to die soon.Their ability to blend into the snowy landscape, suddenly appearing or disappearing, has also added to their ghostly reputation.-Luck: If you see three ptarmigans on your way to some special meeting, the results will be fruitful. Seeing three ptarmigans three times means even better luck! -Not so good luck: there's a Sámi sayinng that someone's "lifebreath is as loose as aptarmigan's", i.e. someone who's at the brink of death. According to Sámi hunters,a ptarmigan can die from a single shot (single lead pellet of a shot of many, that is). -The Spiral Dance (actually more relateed to other species of the grouse family): the grouse birds' spiralling mating dances have earned them a sacred position in some Native American traditions. The spiral symbolizes the wheeling dance of life, death and rebirth in cyclic world views.
Perhaps not, but I believe a certain Sargent may be paying you a visit, and he probably won't be in a good mood... Just saying...

You realize the wings were not still attached to the bird when they did this, right?
This is completely miraculous! Even our local rabbit rescue who has years and years of experience and expertise is rarely able to save more than one or two. The rate is less than 10%. To have children who can "often" save creatures that even rehabbers can't, well it must be a DUmmie thing!Cindie
Not only that, bunnies like to hide in the bushes, and then jump out.
Terrorist bunnies.
Yeah, terrorists of cuteness. They are spreading their terroristic cuteness into making the world a cute caliphate. If only ptarmigands were that cute, they could rule the world !!

The woman in the last pic is thinking, "I'll kiss this typical, stupid prairie chicken before I wring its' neck."
Rabbits kill humans. Bunnies are terrorist scum out to destroy humanity.Ptarmigans are cute and divine.
There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site
