You have the ABSOLUTE RIGHT to FILM police as long as you dont interfere


with what they are doing.

Yes, they are going to use that excuse probably if they know what they are doing is wrong, but keep filming, you are protected by our god damn constitution.

It's kind of up in the air in Illinois.  They leave it up to the cops to determine if you are interfering. Also, there are some eavesdropping laws still in place that involve recording the voices of those involved.

I was told that the Second Amendment only protects muskets, so there's no way the First Amendment protects your right to use a video recording device.

This post reminded me of the most ridiculous thing I ever saw, it was a revolutionary war musket hanging on the wall at the Massachusetts State House with a trigger lock.
