It's kind of up in the air in Illinois.  They leave it up to the cops to determine if you are interfering. Also, there are some eavesdropping laws still in place that involve recording the voices of those involved.

This post reminded me of the most ridiculous thing I ever saw, it was a revolutionary war musket hanging on the wall at the Massachusetts State House with a trigger lock.  :whatever:
