I wanted to explain why this fundraiser has not met the expectations set before it, whereas the Memories Pizza fund soared past its goal. The LGBT community is mishandling this issue and is risking swinging the pendulum of public opinion the wrong direction by making themselves the aggressors in situations where they, had they left it alone, might have been seen as the victims. No matter what side a person would have normally taken, people desire fairness and rise to defend those who are treated unfairly. Despite whatever grievances the LGBT community has toward other groups, laws, politics, religion, etc., it was misguided in its response against Memories Pizza and the backlash was obvious. Memories Pizza was given a loaded and politically motivated hypothetical question designed to cause trouble for them. No actual discrimination happened at that location which is something most people overlook. Compare that the angry and hateful reaction toward them in return and it's easy to see why the perception of who the victims were shifted so quickly from the LGBT community to the pizza parlor itself.

In fact, he allowed himself to be victimized to the point of death, and in doing so he caused such a swell of injustice that his death is felt and celebrated to this day 2000 years later. If you attacks Christians today, are you going to expect a different result?

Were those leaving those comments duly punished? I hate being so cynical, but there are many Libs, Progs, and gay activist types who roll that way.

People like that let their anger overwhelm whatever wisdom they might have, leading them into self-sabotage along the lines of what was done to that pizza place. Simply looking at a map of that part of IN all but proves it was a set-up - looking at where the TV station is, where the pizza place is, the miles in between, and what is located in those miles (Notre Dame University and most of the City of South Bend!).

Less than 20% of what was raised for Memories Pizza, despite 3X-4X the time! Despite CU advertising it regularly! And the Memories Pizza GFM was shut down by the campaign organizers!

Yeah, I think 10s of thousands of some ones made a rather clear point!
