Dynamite does not go BOOM.  It goes BANG!  Black powder, flash powder and other deflagrating compounds go BOOM.   If pitt wasn't such a maroon he would understand the difference between detonation and subsonic burning of powder.

An internal TurboTax investigation has found the breaches are not due to a problem with its own systems, but criminals digging up the personal information elsewhere.

From the article:

"Following up on taxpayer concerns, Intuit announced that it is working with state agencies to address the problem. Intuit reached out to Palantir, a third party security expert, to make a preliminary investigation of the most recent fraud activities. The initial findings have led Intuit to believe that these instances of fraud did not result from a security breach of its systems. Instead, the company believes that the information used to file fraudulent returns was obtained from other sources outside the tax preparation process"

The fraudsters got the personal information from some other source. It is akin to someone going through your trash to get your SSN and then filing a tax return or applying for credit cards using your information. The personal information was not lifted from Turbotax, but used on Turbotax.

Hey, Rex, did that snark taste like Wee William's balloon knot when it was run back down your throat?   :lmao:

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

Reading for comprehension is not a strong liberal trait.

Even less so for DUmmies.    :rotf:

Liberals are like Slinkys.  Basically useless, but they do bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

Wouldn't surprise me at all. But honestly, we will never know about it unless a hacking group publicly dumps a bunch of data they mined from Heathcare.gov -

And why is that? Because Obama made it so they do not have to notify people if their information is compromised. Congress tried, but Obama refused.
