Clean up, calm Monday morning after violent night in Ferguson
http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/violence-breaks-out-near-site-of-vigil-for-teen-killed/article_f9d627dc-e3c8-5bde-b2ab-7f0a3d36a083.html
EDITOR'S NOTE: An earlier version of this story misstated part of St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar's explanation of the shooting.
FERGUSON • A calmer dawn broke Monday morning after a night of protest and looting in Ferguson left broken glass and at least one burned-out building.
Officer Brian Schellman of the St. Louis County police said two officers were injured overnight Sunday — one was hit by a brick and one suffered knee injuries. Police arrested 32 people for theft, assault or burglary.

Another "peaceful" demonstration. :thatsright:

When conservatives get upset, they form a Tea Party and peacefully protest.
When Blacks get upset, they loot.
Guess which one is considered a terrorist group?
-
Has Obama said anything about "his son" yet? Holder and his racist DOJ is getting involved, so racial tensions are sure to worsen.
A black man killed by cops and they riot, hundreds of black kids shot and killed in Chicago by other blacks, and no one gives a shit.
-
Another sterling example of our urban dwellers. Someone shoots someone and they go tear up a community. Of course there will be no blame put on the thugs doing this behavior. Remember they are PrezBO's sons and they are oppressed by society. Kinda remind me of the muzzies when they get their turban all wrapped to tight.
-
"No justice no peace" is a not veiled threat: "do what we want (no matter what) or we will burn down our own neighborhood!"

A black man killed by cops and they riot, hundreds of black kids shot and killed in Chicago by other blacks, and no one gives a shit.
My thoughts exactly.
-
And the rioters and looters are back for a second night.

Police respond to St. Louis Galleria following fight

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo. -- Officers with the Richmond Heights Police Department responded to the St. Louis Galleria Monday evening. The Galleria has closed.
Police said a group of teenagers got into a fight. As many as 40 reportedly people became involved.
Several stores were evacuated shortly after 6:00.
This is worse than Trayvon Martin. Geroge Zimmerman was not a police officer, unlike the one with Mike Brown.

Hmm----What is social justice when people cut off their nose to spite their face ?
Loot and burn the very people that supply you with jobs, a pay check in your pocket every 5 days ??? Loot and burn the very people all depend on to save their lives, the Cops, the Fire Department and the EMTS who transport people to the hospital where Doctors and all are working to save a life as their own homes are burned to the ground.???
For those on welfare and other government moneys, when the looters and the burners have finished their job, there are few government works that can be able to come back to work to do their jobs issuing out checks to the people that depend on them as all records have been destroyed. Few companies that can issue out pay checks for the last week,
Yup let it all burn baby, Show the people who is BOSS and then cry about Social Problems.

Chief: Officer in fatal shooting sustained facial injuries
http://www.kmov.com/special-coverage-001/Chief-Officer-in-fatal-shooting-suffered-facial-injuries-271079471.html
FERGUSON, Mo. -- The officer who shot and killed an unarmed teenager in Ferguson, Missouri was injured in the alleged altercation, according to Ferguson Chief of Police Tom Jackson.
Jackson, who spoke on the phone with News 4's Laura Hettiger Wednesday morning, said the officer "was hit" and the "side of his face was swollen." The chief did not say if the officer suffered any broken bones.
In an interview after the shooting, police said 18-year-old Michael Brown was walking with a friend in the middle of Canfield when an officer attempted to exit his vehicle. Police said Brown pushed the officer back into the police car. According to police, Brown then entered the officer’s vehicle and a struggle ensued over the officer’s weapon. Police said during the physical altercation a shot was fired inside of the car.
The name of the cop has not been released, but was injured.

Police Chief: Shot Fired in Officer's Car Before Death of Michael Brown
Jackson said there was a struggle for the officer's gun before 18-year-old Michael Brown was fatally shot by the officer.
He could not say whether there are witnesses who will confirm the shot going off in the car or that the struggle occurred. Hannity asked whether, as some witnesses have stated, as many as 10 shots were fired by the officer.

A city ripped apart: Heavily-armed SWAT teams fire tear gas on demonstrators and arrest two journalists in FOURTH night of clashes over the shooting of unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2724528/A-city-ripped-apart-Heavily-armed-SWAT-teams-fire-tear-gas-demonstrators-arrest-two-journalists-FOURTH-night-clashes-shooting-unarmed-18-year-old-Michael-Brown.html
Heavily armed SWAT police trained their guns on the public and fired tear gas in Ferguson, Missouri, last night as racial unrest over the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teen rocked the St. Louis suburb for the fourth night running.
An estimated 500 people, who had been protesting 18-year-old Michael Brown's death on Saturday, ignored the night curfew imposed by police and instead faced-off against officers chanting 'Hands Up! Don't Shoot!'
After repeatedly asking them to disperse, the riot police then fired tear gas into the crowd to break it up, causing scenes that resembled a war zone as another night of clashes was sparked between authorities and furious protestors.
The violence continues. This is worse than Trayvon Martin since George Zimmerman is not a police officer.

French warned travelers to avoid Ferguson area
http://www.wnd.com/2014/08/french-warned-travelers-to-avoid-ferguson-area/
NEW YORK – For the past year, a French government website has warned French travelers to avoid visiting the area north of downtown St. Louis were the police shooting of a black teen Saturday sparked violent, racial tensions that now are being addressed by the White House.
The French government website “France Diplomatie†carries a security warning for St. Louis, that reads in French: “St. Louis: Eviter le quartier nord entre l’aéroport et le centre-ville, mais la navette reliant l’aéroport est sûre.â€
It translates to: “St. Louis: Avoid the northern area between the airport and the city center, but the airport shuttle is safe.â€
Why would anyone travel to that area in northern St. Louis County?

Why Ferguson Was Ready to Explode
http://time.com/3111727/ferguson-missouri-michael-brown-hyper-segregated/
A few cautionary tales point to the frustrating racial divide within St. Louis' suburbs that many African Americans feel is impossible to transcend.
The late Tom Eagleton, longtime Democrat Senator from Missouri, in speaking to a group of NFL owners some years ago referred to St. Louis as “a raucous Des Moines,†despite its Southern pedigree (St. Louis had slavery); its role as portal to the American West (St. Louis proudly calls itself “the gateway cityâ€); and its reputation of being more refined and “eastern†than its bigger western sister, Kansas City. Perhaps St. Louis, in its heart, is something of a mid-sized, Midwestern burg, a bigger, more lively, and urban version of Sinclair Lewis’s Main Street. St. Louis has always thought itself as current in a benign way, hardly avant-garde, but a charming, if declining, metropolis with a glorious past, when, in the 19th Century, the nation ran through this city.
This caught my attention.
Enter this iron triangle of control, neglect and racial alienation, and one uncovers several recent racial narratives that should have warned St. Louisans about what was coming—narratives about crossing the racial divide here. Metrolink, St. Louis’s light rail system, completed its second line in 2006. It provided African Americans of East St. Louis, one of the poorest cities in the country, and of north St. Louis county much easier access to the St. Louis Galleria Mall and the central cultural corridor of the city, including the hip Delmar Loop district. Concurrently, the Galleria has since seen an astronomical increase in shoplifting, and there has also been an increase in general crime and hooliganism in the Delmar Loop. This has led many to think that the Metrolink, as it has crossed racial boundaries, has enabled African American teenaged crime. This vicious cycle of young African Americans’ antisocial hostility and acting out, hardly unique to African Americans or even to Americans, and ever increasing white fear and barricade building, have intensified racial tensions, as people find the problem intractable and increasingly impossible to discuss honestly. The current riot in Ferguson is largely a war between police and the young African Americans who think cops exist mostly to prevent African American from harming whites.

Race Riot Romance
http://www.frontpagemag.com/2014/matthew-vadum/race-riot-romance-1/
The fatal police shooting of a young black suspect in a Midwestern town last weekend has given the Left yet another opportunity to advance its destructive, racially polarizing agenda.
After 18-year-old Michael Brown, a black man was killed by police in Ferguson, a mostly black community in St. Louis County, Mo., the city and region surrounding it have been under siege. Not content to wait for the wheels of the justice system to spin, some view this tragedy as a license to riot.
Cries of “no justice, no peace†pierce the air as demonstrators hurl Molotov cocktails at law enforcement officials. Some say the police have been responding to the protesters and rioters with excessive force and have been mean by discouraging protests. Some blacks are reportedly randomly assaulting non-blacks as collective payback for what happened to Brown.
Here is one part that nails it right on.
Cloward, who died in 2001, and his wife Piven objectified blacks, viewing them as cannon fodder in a fifth-column assault on America. They wanted blacks to remain miserable, docile, poor, and angry in black ghettos where left-wing community organizers could easily sacrifice their lives at will, as I wrote in my book, Subversion Inc.: How Obama’s ACORN Red Shirts are Still Terrorizing and Ripping Off American Taxpayers.
In a particularly odious essay titled, “The Case Against Urban Desegregation,†these apostles of depravity wrote, “If the African American is to develop the power to enter the mainstream of American life, it is separatism—not integration—that will be essential to achieve results in certain institutional arenas.†The black American would be better off “consolidating his power within the central city†in order to “have some impact on the environment of the ghetto itself.†Blacks have to “organize as a bloc.†Achieving “effective separatist power†would not be accomplished by arguing “the ghetto must be dispersed.â€
It is no secret that radicals want blacks to hate the police because it makes it easier to fan the flames of discontent. The leftist narrative is that the police are “pigs,†the armed wing of the white capitalist class that oppresses poor blacks. Cops are legitimate targets in the radicals’ war against what Sixties radicals called “AmeriKKKa.â€
Echoing a sentiment expressed by Bolshevik barrister William Kunstler—defender of the Chicago Seven antiwar protesters, accused of crossing state lines to incite riots at the 1968 Democratic National Convention— Piven wrote separately in 1972 that growing numbers of poor blacks viewed police officers as a kind of “army of occupation in the ghetto.â€
The left uses Blacks for their own gain and seek for power. Blacks are just pawns to the left.

Ferguson's Rep. Lacy Clay Voted Against Amendment to Limit Military Surplus Transfers to Local Cops, Just Two Months Ago
In June, the House of Representatives voted on a series of amendments to H.R. 4435, the National Defense Authorization Act. Among the amendments was one by Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) which would’ve prohibited funds from being used to transfer certain kinds of military surplus to local police departments. The amendment failed by a wide margin, with only 62 votes for and 355 against.
Among those voting against this bill, which would slow down the militarization of America’s police forces, was Rep. Lacy Clay (D-Mo.), whose district includes Ferguson, Missouri, where many Americans have gotten their first glimpse of America’s militarized police in action.

Times Square SHUT DOWN by thousands marching as Ferguson protests spin-off across the country on fifth night of tensions over gunned down teen
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2725535/Times-Square-SHUT-DOWN-thousands-marching-Ferguson-protests-spin-country-fifth-night-tensions-gunned-teen.html
The fifth night of demonstrations in support of gunned down Ferguson, Missouri teen Michael Brown saw scores of protesters marching through the streets of New York in a vigil that culminated in Times Square Thursday night.
Tensions flared as some protestors attempted to shove their way through a police barricade set up in their path toward the beating heart of the city.
Police held their own and tempers soon calmed, but as night gripped New York, the already congested Times Square ground to a halt as thousands flowed into the streets to demand an end to police brutality and militarization and justice for 18-year-old Brown.
The protest has gone beyond Ferguson.

I once had my arm twisted to finish a grading job the original contractor refused to finish. I knew something was wrong when I pulled up on the job. Unloaded my dozer and asked the superintendent where the 'benchmark' was. Got a few shots off the installed sewer and buildings already under construction and things just weren't right. Asked for a complete set of plans and I found what I was looking for....an elevation given in the bottom of a manhole in the middle of the city street. Checked it against the benchmark that I was told to use and found it was almost 40 inches to high....the previous contractor and superintendent had been using the wrong 'spike' in the wrong 'tree'. I found evidence of the original correct benchmark in another tree and checked it against the sewer elevation. I called the owners and explained what I had found and that that mistake was the reason for the small fortune they had spent for grading that 'cost plus' job. They fired the superintendent on the spot over the phone and sued the former contractor.
I did several grading jobs for them after that at what ever I charged, no questions asked.

That shit's expensive. My former boss had to buy a $500k house because one of the engineers didn't do enough deed research to know there was a permanent utility esmt runnning through the middle of the lot. So he now own a huge house that he can only rent. Never sell.
I just got my insurance bill for E&O insurance (event we make a mistake, like malpractice). Geez! I got the least amount so I'm gonna beat the crap out of him if he makes an error that costs $1,000,001.
(I do like going to different cities and especially when it's raining noticing the parking lots pooling water. We try to guess whether they just did a shitty job or used the wrong elevation during staking. (we are boring :whistling:)

The officer was identified as Darren Wilson, on the force six years with no disciplinary record.
Brown and his friend Johnson were suspected by the officer of an earlier strong arm theft at a near-by convenience store that looks to have been identified by cameras at the store.

Is Wilson black or white?
He's probably white, but they haven't posted the pic yet.
Has anyone said how big Brown is? He looks like a giant compared to that guy in the convenience store.
-
I kept wondering why Brown would just push the officer into his car. It didn't make sense but after the robbery has come out I understand. He knew he was caught and was going to run.
The police chief's announcement Friday was met with immediate disbelief and anger by several dozen community members who also attended the news conference, which was hastily held at a gas station burned during a night of looting earlier in the week.
"He stopped the wrong one, bottom line," yelled Tatinisha Wheeler, a nurse's aide who was at the news conference. (notice not at work ::) )
A couple dozen protesters began marching around the area and in the street chanting, "Hands up, don't shoot," and, "What do we want? Justice! When do we want it? Now!"
I'm sure the man that was terrified looking in that video during the robbery is glad Brown got justice.
-
Question! When this first happened there was a video right after the shooting showing him laying down in a parking lot apron with a wrought iron fence 6 feet from him with 4-5 cops around him and people screaming at the cops.
But when I go look for the footage now I see him being in the middle of a street. Was that the wrong video?
-
Gina, would you believe I once graded for three industrial sites without a single subgrade or finish grade furnished anyway on the plans? Young, just starting out, female civil engineer did the plans for me and the older customer I was working for. She got state and federal approval and there was never a surveyor on any of the sites. County inspector seems to have been the only one to notice the lack of grades and he tried to give me hell over it. :lmao:
I did a good bit of work for the young lady engineer and her family. I loved working with her and for her. She had a lot more commonsense than most of the male engineers I had to deal with.

'There are no police': Ferguson store owners guard businesses; cite lack of police response
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/08/16/there-are-no-police-ferguson-store-owners-guard-businesses-with-own-guns-lack/
Looters in Ferguson, Mo., were met with little police resistance Friday night and store owners say they were forced to protect their businesses with their own guns, Fox2Now.com reported.
"I think the first message is to remind all law enforcement that they are hired to serve and protect and if they’re going to sit back and watch looting, they're not serving us; they’re not protecting us," Pastor Robert White told the station.
A reporter from the station tweeted that police cars were seen driving past some of the stores being looted and did not respond. It rained in Ferguson Friday night and protesters could be seen outside until 6 a.m.

Wow, haven't seen any of this. I used to shop at the Galleria all the time, but 4 years ago, right before we moved here, noticed that it was really going down. That's a shame, as it is, or was, a very upscale mall. I stopped going when a small gang of the bros started following me in the afternoon. I was heading out and didn't want them following me to that covered parking. I dashed into a store and wouldn't leave til I determined they were long since gone, trying for other prey.
This is just so sad when the animals take over a city. I taught years ago at a high school in Jennings. It was what drove me from teaching. It's so much worse now. When I was teaching it was an all white school, composed of hooligans who were so tough that they'd stone any black families trying to move into their community. There was a lot of inbreeding, many cases of brothers raping sisters. Can't believe how bad it is now with 70% black, 30% white.
I grew up in one of the burbs not far from Jennings. My parents moved out of there long ago. What was at one time a nice place is ruined. My old high school I last heard is being closed by the state for poor performance, again almost all minority. When I went there they had honors and accelerated classes in many subjects. My first year in college was boring, because all of it had already been covered in high school. So sad.

Sorry to hear how much the St. Louis area has changed for the worse, especially closer to the city. East St. Louis is Third World from what I have read.

FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Multiple police agencies were called to Ferguson early Saturday morning following reports of violence.
About 200 protesters clashed with police at the height of the disturbance at the Ferguson Market, where they began looting. Police said they tried to set the store on fire.
St. Louis County Police tell News 4 there has been more looting of stores near West Florissant. According to police, a liquor store, an electronics store, and a beauty supply store were looted,

Justice Department Reportedly Asked Ferguson Cops Not To Release Alleged Robbery Video Of Slain Teen
http://www.businessinsider.com/feds-objected-to-the-release-of-alleged-michael-brown-robbery-tape-2014-8
Police in Ferguson released a video tape allegedly showing slain teen Michael Brown robbing a store even though the Justice Department warned that doing so could inflame racial tensions, CNN is reporting.
Ferguson cops had wanted to release the video on Thursday but held off when federal officials asked them not to release the tape, an unnamed law enforcement official told CNN. That tape allegedly showed Brown stealing cigars from a convenience store before a police officer shot the unarmed 18-year-old in the street last weekend.
Despite holding off Thursday, Ferguson police still decided to release the tape Friday over the Justice Department's objections, according to CNN.
Hmmmmmmmmmm. Why would Holder DOJ object to the release of surveillance video of Michael Brown robbing a store.

Autopsy Shows Michael Brown Was Struck at Least 6 Times
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/08/18/us/michael-brown-autopsy-shows-he-was-shot-at-least-6-times.html
FERGUSON, Mo. — Michael Brown, the unarmed black teenager who was killed by a police officer, sparking protests around the nation, was shot at least six times, including twice in the head, a preliminary private autopsy performed on Sunday found.
One of the bullets entered the top of Mr. Brown’s skull, suggesting his head was bent forward when it struck him and caused a fatal injury, according to Dr. Michael M. Baden, the former chief medical examiner for the City of New York, who flew to Missouri on Sunday at the family’s request to conduct the separate autopsy. It was likely the last of bullets to hit him, he said.
Mr. Brown, 18, was also shot four times in the right arm, he said, adding that all the bullets were fired into his front.
Michael Brown was shot 6 times and bullets came from the front.

Holder and the Department of Injustice have yet to do their autopsy. They'll find bullets in his back and likely evidence of a double tap to the back of his head.
-
Governor Nixon called in the National Guard.
-
This is why Eric Holder wants another autopsy done--so that the Feds can refute those claims. The problem is, Dr. Baden is recognized as the expert in these things, all over the world.
-
So he was not running away, or attempting to surrender, as his buddy said. Question: is the shot on the top of the head explained if he was running at the police officer?
-

How very wise of the Brown family to call in DR. Baden in this case.
I do not care if the victim was Black, White, Asian or Latino, I don't care if the Officer was from some native tribe in Alaska, this is not about race----- this is about Truth, reconstruction of the incident, science and to understand that no two eyewitnesses saw and heard the same thing.
Sort of like the Movie 'Natural born killers"------Saw this movie with family [Adult] and as we all saw the same thing, heard the same words spoken, we ended up arguing for days about what we had seen and heard. A satire on the press and the weekly papers saying Jesus was found in a grilled cheese sandwich.
As Joe Friday said " Only the facts, just give me the facts"
It will not be easy for the Feds to refute anything Baden finds as they will need to find someone with a better track record then Baden's to contradict his findings.
To CMYPAY--------- I would believe that after being shot 5 times, this man was in no condition to charge bare handed the man who had shot him. The head shot to the top of his head was we must assume to be the fatal one and may have been received as he, the victim was going down to the ground.
We will have to wait for a year or so to get this sorted out, the wheels of Justice grind slowly.

Mr. Brown, 18, was also shot four times in the right arm, he said, adding that all the bullets were fired into his front.
The bullets did not appear to have been shot from very close range because no gunpowder was present on his body. However, that determination could change if it turns out that there is gunshot residue on Mr. Brown’s clothing, to which Dr. Baden did not have access.
Some key facts from this NYT article:
* This Medical Examiner is not local, but flew in from NYC and did the autopsy at the Brown family's request;
* Brown was struck by 6 bullets, 4 in the arm, 2 in the head, none from behind;
* There have been reports (based on chatter by an eyewitness chatting in the background of a news video) of Brown attempting to flee, stopping when so instructed by the officer, then trying to bumrush the officer by surprise, and then being shot; the 6 bullet strikes are potentially consistent with Brown having tried to rush the police officer ----> 4 to the arm when Brown was moving and difficult to hit, 1 to the face, causing him to fall, and the last, to the top of his head, when Brown was falling (my speculation, except regarding the hit to the top of the head having been the last bullet);
* While the NYC ME could not comment on powder burns or residue on Brown's clothing, this is not relevant to the two hits to Brown's head; powder burns/residue from those shots, if any, would have been on Brown's face and the top of his head; there were none, therefore those 2 hits, including the one that was fatal, were not at close range.
The claim that Brown was shot in the back is disproved. The claim that Brown was shot while having his arms raised is proven highly doubtful (police only aim at arms and hands in movies and TV shows). The claim that Brown was shot at close range while lying on the pavement is disproven.
So once again, the MSM have been deceived by race-hucksters and victimologists, and by their own bias and haste. I was very prepared, despite the huckster-like actions of Brown's family and rioting, to believe that this shooting was unjustified, and possibly even murder. With this autopsy, by the Brown family's chosen ME, all the spectacular claims of the family, the Jackson-Sharpton types, and their MSM poll parrots have almost completely unraveled. At this point, IMO, it would take a hostile, highly biased, jury to convict this officer of anything.

Why is everyone freaking out about the six shots? It sounds like the cop tried to take him down by non-lethal means, but St. Michael kept charging.
Also, doesn't the media remember the Georgia mom who shot the home intruder five times in the face, which failed to take him down?

The two examiners think that two of the wounds are re-entry wounds, which would make four shots hitting Brown.
I think this whole thing is a tragedy for both Brown and the cop.

I read the link......in bold print at the very top it says that officer Wilson didn't know about the robbery or the description of the suspect but then at bottom it says the police put out a description at 11:52 and Brown was shot at 12:01.
Then in the pictures below there it shows a red cap near the door of officer Wilson's vehicle which to me coincides with the statement of a fight or scuffle at or near the police vehicle and a ways from the body of Brown which is consistent with the officer giving chase and the victim turning on him.

County investigation: Michael Brown was shot from the front, had marijuana in his system
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2014/08/18/county-investigation-michael-brown-was-shot-from-the-front-had-marijuana-in-his-system/
Michael Brown was shot in the head and chest multiple times, according to Mary Case, the St. Louis County medical examiner.
While Case declined to comment further, citing the ongoing investigation into Brown’s death, another person familiar with the county’s investigation told The Washington Post that Brown had between six and eight gunshot wounds and was shot from the front.
In addition, Brown had marijuana in his system when he was shot and killed by a police officer on Aug. 9 in Ferguson, according to this person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation.
Michael Brown had marijuana in his system. Wonder if it made him more aggressive.

I've never used MJ, but I've read that today it is not like it used to be. There are all kinds of it, some laced with other things, even a synthetic form of THC to enhance the effects.
There have been several medical and psyche reports lately, about how chronic use in kids can really mess with their brains.
It will probably take weeks to get the full results on his drug use, if there is any.

Ferguson protesters: The peaceful, the elders, the looters, and the ‘militants’

FERGUSON, Mo. — On one corner of a battered stretch of West Florissant Avenue, the epicenter of ongoing protests, young men pull dark scarves up over their mouths and lob molotov cocktails at police from behind makeshift barricades built of bricks and wood planks. They call the gasoline-filled bottles “poor man’s bombs.â€
The young men yell expletives and, with a rebel’s bravado, speak about securing justice for Michael Brown, the black teen fatally shot Aug. 9 by a white police officer, “by any means necessary.â€
They are known here as “the militants†— a faction inhabiting the hard-core end of a spectrum that includes online organizers and opportunistic looters — and their numbers have been growing with the severity of their tactics since the shooting.
Radicals among the protesters. I am not surprised. They want to cause trouble.

It certainly didn't make him smarter! The dude weighed nearly 300 lbs. and, allegedly, tried to rush a police officer.

Man 1: "How'd he get from there to here?
Witness: "Cause he ran - The police was still in the truck"
Man 1: "They came this way?
Witness: "(inaudible) - him and the police was still in the truck"
Like I don't know"
Man 1: "What this way? Why did his body come this way though"
Witness: "....in that truck (inaudible) yeah him and the police was
both in the truck, he was like (inaudible) cause then he ran -
the police got out and ran after him -(crosstalk)
Then the next thing I know he coming back toward him though
police had his gun drawn on him."
Man 1: "Oh, the police got his gun?"
Witness: "The police kept dumpin' on him, and I'm thinking the police
kept missing....like he's coming back towards...
Police fired shots the next thing I know the police was missing.
Man 1: "The police?"
Witness: "The police shot him. The next thing I know the dude started
running.... he took it from him."

MO Governor Nixon Demands Officer Darren Wilson Be Prosecuted
In his Tuesday statement Missouri Governor Jay Nixon demanded that Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson be prosecuted.
"…Amid all the pain and distrust and anger, we’ve also seen tremendous acts of grace, courage, and kindness as the people of Ferguson try to maintain peace, while they call for justice for the family of Michael Brown. In Ferguson, people of all races and creeds are joining hands to pray for justice. Teenagers cooking meals for law enforcement officers. Community leaders demonstrating courage and heroism throughout the night in standing against armed and violent instigators…"
"…But we will not be defeated by bricks and guns and Molotov cocktails. With the help of peaceful demonstrators, pastors and community leaders, Captain Johnson and law enforcement will not give up trying to ensure that those with peace in their hearts are not drowned out by those with senseless violence in their hands."
"Second, a vigorous prosecution must now be pursued."

Ferguson Looter: ‘I’m Proud Of Us, We Deserve This’
http://stlouis.cbslocal.com/2014/08/19/it-has-to-stop-more-than-30-arrested-after-another-violent-night-in-ferguson/
FERGUSON, Mo. (CBS St. Louis/AP) — The National Guard arrived in Ferguson but kept its distance from the streets where protesters clashed again with police, as clouds of tear gas and smoke hung over the St. Louis suburb where Michael Brown was fatally shot by a police officer.
Protesters filled the streets after nightfall Monday, and officers trying to enforce tighter restrictions at times used bullhorns to order them to disperse. Police deployed noisemakers and armored vehicles to push demonstrators back. Officers fired tear gas and flash grenades.
One looter who came out of a QuikTrip told The Washington Post that he was proud of what he was doing.
“I’m proud of us. We deserve this, and this is what’s supposed to happen when there’s injustice in your community,†DeAndre Smith told The Post. “St. Louis — not going to take this anymore.â€

***BREAKING NEWS***
Remember, you saw it and heard it here first. We have heard (from a VERY connected national media source) that Ferguson officer Darren Wilson will be cleared in the shooting of Michael Brown. The key: Dorian Johnson has now admitted that Michael Brown attacked Officer Wilson and attempted to take his gun. OFFICER WILSON WILL NOT BE CHARGED! This is scary. When this news is made official, we all have reason to be concerned about the reaction.
Not sure how legitimate this is. Darren Wilson is going to be cleared. This is from a radio station in St. Louis. This could get worse.

22 year-old Dorian Johnson, the man who was walking with Michael Brown when he was shot, has a warrant out for his arrest in Jefferson City.
The warrant is for stealing and dates back to June 2011.

My first thought, like yours, was, "If this is true it will not be well received." But then I realized that whether Wilson is exonerated and commended or summarily executed, the thugs who have been rioting will riot again; the only difference is whether they'll be rioting and looting in anger or in celebration.
Then, too, as was seen in the Rodney King mess/farce, if the MO grand jury doesn't indict Wilson on a serious charge (voluntary manslaughter or worse), the "Justice" Department will "correct" their "error".

The rain that rolled through downtown Atlanta on Monday evening did nothing to dampen the spirits of the marchers who gathered at the CNN Center in memory of Missouri teen Michael Brown, who was killed by a police officer.
Even as the first drops fell, the more than 1,000 marchers continued down Marietta Street, some chanting, “No justice, no peace,†while others proclaimed, “I am Mike Brown.â€
By the time many of the marchers neared the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, they were in the middle of a full-on deluge, but they continued to march and chant.

Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown, says source
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/08/20/missouri-cop-was-badly-beaten-before-shooting-michael-brown-says-source/
Darren Wilson, the Ferguson, Mo., police officer whose fatal shooting of Michael Brown touched off more than a week of demonstrations, suffered severe facial injuries, including an orbital (eye socket) fracture, and was nearly beaten unconscious by Brown moments before firing his gun, a source close to the department's top brass told FoxNews.com.
“The Assistant (Police) Chief took him to the hospital, his face all swollen on one side,†said the insider. “He was beaten very severely.â€
According to the well-placed source, Wilson was coming off another case in the neighborhood on Aug. 9 when he ordered Michael Brown and his friend Dorain Johnson to stop walking in the middle of the road because they were obstructing traffic. However, the confrontation quickly escalated into physical violence, the source said.
The injuries are severe. I do not know how he could fire the gun with this type of injury.
Wilson suffered a fractured eye socket in the fracas, and was left dazed by the initial confrontation, the source said. He is now "traumatized, scared for his life and his family, injured and terrified" that a grand jury, which began hearing evidence on Wednesday, will "make some kind of example out of him," the source said.
I wonder if Darren Wilson was a victim of the "knock out" game.

Media pull out amid new evidence Brown was aggressor
Many news media services already had begun packing tents and television transmission vehicles as word circulated through the Ferguson community of further evidence that the black teen shot and killed by a police officer was the aggressor, resisting arrest after his suspected role in a convenience store robbery.
During daylight hours Wednesday and Thursday, the streets of Ferguson were open to normal traffic and businesses throughout the city were active, with protesters in the streets numbering fewer than 50 at any given time.
Media have been cordoned off in the parking lot of a large shopping center at the corner of West Florissant Avenue and Lucas-Hunt Road, less than a mile from the site of the shooting.

I doubt it. QUESTION
I know some cops can be badasses but I'm finding it hard to believe that this officer reached for Brown's throat. I mean look how huge Brown was compared to Officer Wilson. He outweighed him by alot and was way taller. I just don't see some average size cop thinking he could man handle a man of Brown's size.
Dorian Johnson, 22, was walking with Brown when, he said, Wilson instigated a confrontation by pulling up to the pair in his police cruiser and telling them to get out of the middle of the street. Johnson said Wilson pulled up so close to Brown that when he opened his car door, it bumped into the teenager.
According to Johnson, Wilson reached out, grabbed Brown by the throat and then grabbed his shirt as Brown tried to move away. At that point, Johnson said, he saw Wilson pull out a gun and shoot Brown in the chest or arm. Johnson said the officer hit Brown with another round as he was running away and fatally gunned him down after he stopped and raised his hands in surrender.
Also, I can't find what kind of gun the officer had. How many rounds could it hold?
Brown
he was 6'4" (1.93m) tall and weighed 292 lb (132 kg).
Anyone know how tall Officer Wilson is? weight?
-
I don't see how it's possible. if Wilson was sitting down in his car. He wouldn't have the advantage or the leverage. Wilson could have grabbed at him, but the examiner didn't find any marks on Brown's neck.

I have read Wilson was carrying a SIG .40 S&W. It would hold 12 rounds. THERE IS NO WAY A COP IS GOING TO GRAB SOMEONE THROUGH THE CRUISER WINDOW BY THE THROAT. Period.
Or anyone else for that matter. You will have to start dealing with Brown's Witnessess like normal DUmpmonkiez. They lie about everything. All the time.

It's more likely that Brown grabbed for Wilson through the window and Wilson defended himself. No one is going to instigate a physical confrontation when confined in a car.

And to be honest, I would think Brown would be intimidating in size. I just don't see a smaller guy picking a fight with the behemoth. :rotf:

Oh Goody .. More free Stuff to follow! :yahoo:
A memorial dedicated to slain teenager Michael Brown was destroyed by a fire Tuesday morning. The memorial, made mostly of teddy bears and homemade signs, had been kept on the side of the street feet from where Brown was shot and killed by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson on August 9th. Another memorial, located in the middle of Canfield Drive at the exact spot where Brown’s slain body laid for four hours, remains intact.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this point.

Candles and half empty bottles of booze, surprised that it didn't burn sooner.
Not much of a stretch to contemplate a bunch of cheap cardboard placards, stuffed toy animals in the "teen's" memory, and bottles of sun-baked alcohol - all surrounded by burning candles- could one day catch fire.
-
Local police need to leave these thugs to themselves! This was a classic lose-lose-lose situation:
* The police have neither the training nor the equipment for a fire that large; no property being threatened, they left it to burn itself out; the thugs blame the police for not putting it out;
* Suppose the police had fire extinguishers and used them; depending on the type, this would have made a mess of the "memorial" or blown it apart; the thugs would have blamed the police for desecrating the "memorial" and posted pix to FB and race-baiters' sites;
* Suppose the police had tried to hasten self-extinguishing by kicking apart the various pieces of the "memorial"; the thugs would have blamed the police for desecrating the "memorial" and posted pix to FB and race-baiters' sites.
BTW, the beauty supplies store that was looted is not close to the site of the "memorial", so the looting was just that, opportunistic theft. Maybe they can buy back their stolen stock on ebay or CraigsList; or maybe they can pay the looters' GFs for pix of them modelling the stolen stock!

Ferguson officer wounded after confronting burglars; suspects remain at large
September 27, 2014 1:30 am • By Samantha Liss sliss@post-dispatch.com 314-340-8017
Updated at 12:25 a.m. Sunday with press conference information from St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar.
A Ferguson police officer was shot Saturday night. The officer, a man, survived the shooting, authorities said.
The shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Smith Avenue in Ferguson, near the new Ferguson Community Center.
Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson said Saturday night that the officer was on routine patrol and spotted two suspects trying to break into a business. He said the business was in Ferguson.
When the officer confronted the suspects, Jackson said, one of them pulled a gun and fired at the officer. The officer was struck once in the arm, and was expected to be okay.
At a news conference near the Ferguson Police Department early Sunday, St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar gave the same account of the shooting as Jackson.

Dr. Baden will be easily undermined in the minds of whites. He was called by the family to reinforce the beliefs of the black community. Dr. Baden was a defense witness in the O.J. trial.

Grand jury considering the Ferguson shooting is being investigated for misconduct
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2014/10/01/grand-jury-hearing-ferguson-shooting-is-being-investigated-for-misconduct/
The St. Louis County prosecutor’s office is investigating an accusation of misconduct on the grand jury that is hearing the case against the Ferguson police officer who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown.
Ed Magee, the spokesman for county prosecutor Robert McCulloch, said they received the information from a “Twitter user†Wednesday morning.
“We are looking into the matter,†he said.
An account of possible jury misconduct surfaced Wednesday morning on Twitter, when several users sent messages about one juror who may have discussed evidence in the case with a friend.
In one of those messages, a person tweeted that they are friends with a member of the jury who doesn’t believe there is enough evidence to warrant an arrest of the officer, Darren Wilson.
Really stupid for a grand juror to disclose anything.

Ferguson Business Owner Calls Nighttime Protests ‘Terrorist Acts’

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A Ferguson business owner is calling the protestors who descend on his city at night “terrorists†and says Homeland Security should be called in.
The anonymous caller to the Charlie Brennan show, who KMOX confirmed is a Ferguson small business owner, says the daytime protestors are fine, but that changes when the outsiders, including elected officials from outside Ferguson, arrive after dark.
“The unpeaceful protesters come out at night, trying to harm or burn our businesses down or stop the businesses,†the caller said. “And it’s time that our government called this what it is, and this is a terrorist act.â€
Still protesting at night. Good grief! :mental:

FERGUSON, Mo. — Alice Singen had always seen her home town as an integrated, harmonious place. Like many other white residents, she prided herself on staying here even when others began to leave.
But since the death of an unarmed black teenager at the hands of a white police officer, some African Americans are calling it segregated and racist. Now Singen has found herself talking in terms of “us†and “them,†“we†and “they.â€
“I didn’t have any problems with anybody or any color, and all of a sudden it feels like we are being held responsible for something that’s not our fault,†Singen, 70, said as she left Faraci Pizza, a 46-year-old Ferguson business that has become a focal point of racial tension. “I don’t get it.â€

REPORT: Missouri Authorities Planning for Riots if Ferguson Officer Not Indicted
http://stlouis.cbslocal.com/2014/10/08/report-missouri-authorities-planning-for-riots-if-ferguson-cop-not-indicted-in-browns-death/
FERGUSON, Mo. (CBS St. Louis/AP) — Missouri officials are reportedly planning for possible riots if a Ferguson police officer is not indicted in the death of an 18-year-old African-American.
Reuters reports that state authorities are meeting two to three times a week to draw up contingency plans in case of riots if Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson is not charged in the Aug. 9 shooting death of Michael Brown. A grand jury is expected to decide next month whether Wilson will face criminal charges.
St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar fears violence will not only encompass Ferguson, but that riots could spread to other meetings.
I fear riots out of this period no matter what the outcome is.

Unless the Grand Jury is kept in seclusion, I can't help but think that all this crap will influence their decision. Then if there is a trial and he's found innocent, then it will be worse.

Shock Report: Popular Muslim Media Member & Ferguson Activist is a Convicted Child Molester
http://freedomoutpost.com/2014/10/shock-report-popular-muslim-media-member-ferguson-activist-convicted-child-molester/
This might only be a shock to those who believe the lies they are sold in the media. If you watch any of the alphabet news networks regularly you might believe that there really is such a thing as a moderate Muslim. If you listen to Barack "The Occidental Accident" Obama you might believe that there is nothing Islamic about ISIL.
Many probably don't realize that taking pre-pubescent girls is a right of Muslim men as laid out by the prophet himself. Mohamed took Aisha to be his wife at the tender age of 6 and consummated the marriage when she was only nine. Sick? That is the teaching. To insult that way is to insult the prophet.
A lot of things that we call crimes in America follow the teachings of Islam.
Ferguson attracts all types of crazies includings this Muslim and child molester who is the darling of the left, Mustafa Hussein, who is originally Theodore Barrett.

Teenager shot by St Louis police officer 'had gun residue on hands'
The Guardian
Jon Swaine in New York
An 18-year-old who was shot dead last week after he allegedly opened fire on a police officer in St Louis, Missouri, had gunshot residue on his hands and waistband when he died, the police said on Tuesday.
Results from crime laboratory tests on the body of Vonderrit Myers appeared to give further support to police claims that Myers shot at the officer following a confrontation in the Shaw neighbourhood. Relatives denied that Myers was carrying a gun and said he was holding only a sandwich.
The St Louis force had already said that it recovered a 9mm handgun from Myers at the scene and that three of its rounds had been discovered fired towards the officer, who was in uniform but working a shift in his second job as a private neighbourhood security guard. The officer’s name has not been released.
Results from the Missouri state highway patrol lab, which police released on Tuesday afternoon, said that gunshot residue was discovered on Myers’s hands, on his T-shirt and in the waistband and pockets of his jeans.
Residue on his hands “could mean the individual discharged a firearm, was near a firearm when it was discharged, or touched an object with gunshot residue on it,†the police statement said.

had gunshot residue on his hands and waistband when he died, the police said on Tuesday.
Wouldn't that imply that he fired the gun and then stuck it in his waistband? Was he involved in another shooting earlier in the night? I mean it's not likely he fired three shots, and was then shot by the cop and used his dying strength to wipe his hands off on his pants or underwear.

On the highlighted question - not necessarily that night. Your conclusion is entirely reasonable that he had fired the weapon previously, and carried it in his waistband.
Undoubtedly he didn't clean the weapon, either; gangstas never do. They buy dirty, cheap-ass ammo, too. He was more likely to have his pistol loaded with CCI Blazer or white box from WalMart, than Buffalo Bore low-flash HPs or Hornady Critiical Defense.

Witness adds new perspective to Ferguson shooting
A stream of eyewitnesses has been testifying in secret before a grand jury considering whether to indict police officer Darren Wilson in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown near the Canfield Green apartments in Ferguson.
One Canfield resident — who said he saw the killing of Michael Brown from start to finish and talked to the grand jury recently — has given the Post-Dispatch an account with some key differences from previous public statements from other witnesses.
Among the recollections of the witness, who agreed to an interview on the condition that his name not be used, were:
** After an initial scuffle in the car, the officer did not fire until Brown turned back toward him.
** Brown put his arms out to his sides but never raised his hands high.
** Brown staggered toward Wilson despite commands to stop.
** The two were about 20 to 25 feet apart when the last shots were fired.
** He would not detail what he told the grand jury but said the members seemed fair and asked a lot of questions.
Witnesses have given differing accounts since the white officer killed the unarmed black teen Aug. 9, triggering protests, riots and national attention.

Police Officer in Ferguson Is Said to Recount a Struggle
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/18/us/ferguson-case-officer-is-said-to-cite-struggle.html?_r=0
WASHINGTON — The police officer who fatally shot Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., two months ago has told investigators that he was pinned in his vehicle and in fear for his life as he struggled over his gun with Mr. Brown, according to government officials briefed on the federal civil rights investigation into the matter.
The officer, Darren Wilson, has told the authorities that during the scuffle, Mr. Brown reached for the gun. It was fired twice in the car, according to forensics tests performed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The first bullet struck Mr. Brown in the arm; the second bullet missed.
The forensics tests showed Mr. Brown’s blood on the gun, as well as on the interior door panel and on Officer Wilson’s uniform. Officer Wilson told the authorities that Mr. Brown had punched and scratched him repeatedly, leaving swelling on his face and cuts on his neck.
This is from New York Slime. Michael Brown grabbed Officer Darren Wilson's gun and attacked him.

Tales of employment woe plague some Ferguson protesters

FERGUSON, Missouri — Chris Hardy could hear the sounds of percussion grenades booming from his living room sofa. Tear gas would waft through his apartment complex, as a few blocks away, police launched canister after canister of the stuff at protesters.
Officers toting machine guns would set up blockades all across the neighborhood when night fell, locking down neighborhood residents in a kind of Pandora’s Box filled with police and protesters.
“When they put that curfew down, that’s when it all went really bad,†Hardy, 49, said. “You couldn’t get out. You couldn’t leave your house.â€
This is from PMSNBC. Some quit jobs to protest. Here is this.
A local real estate agent-turned-protester said people, including a police officer, have called her job to complain about her involvement in protests. A former bill collector for a health care company said his boss gave him an ultimatum — either full-time hours at the office or with protesters in the streets. And a dentist hundreds of miles away in Tennessee said her private postings to social media in support of Brown have angered the partners at her dentist office, so much so that she claimed she was squeezed out of the practice.
“I had taken it upon myself to write a few posts on my own social media account about how I felt about it, and that enough professional people weren’t stepping up about it and instead were leaving it to people to take to the streets,†Dr. Misee Harris, the dentist from Tennessee, told msnbc.
Sounds like a bouncy to me. :diebouncy:

Protesters reportedly planning to shut down Missouri city after Brown decision
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/11/14/protesters-reportedly-planning-to-shut-down-missouri-city-after-brown-verdict/?intcmp=latestnews
Protesters in Missouri are reportedly planning to shut down Clayton following a grand jury decision on whether a suburban St. Louis officer who shot unarmed teen Michael Brown should face charges.
The protesters want to financially hurt Clayton, a city of roughly 15,000 residents that borders St. Louis, where organizers met late Thursday to hopefully attract hundreds if not thousands of people to show up on the first workday after the grand jury reaches a decision, KTVI reports.
The protesters will meet in public spaces and may spread out in small groups, possibly to take part in civil disobedience like shutting down roads.
This could get bad regardless of Darren Wilson is indicted or not.

Someone will **** up, and all Hell will break loose.
Here are Big Dog's rules of engagement for the rioters:
1. Stand on the street or taxpayer-owned land and shout: knock yourself out. That's what the First Amendment is for. Just so long as nothing gets broken or torched, nothing gets stolen, and nobody gets hurt.
2. Trespass on private property, or damage property (including taxpayer-owned property): you will go to jail.
3. Loot: private property owners are within their rights to defend their property. If you survive, you will go to jail.
4. Commit violence: you will have violence committed against you. If you survive, you will go to jail.
I think my rules are eminently reasonable.

EXCLUSIVE: Militant group offers cash rewards for 'location' of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson - and says ammunition will 'solve a lot of problems'
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2840003/Militant-group-offers-cash-rewards-location-Ferguson-police-officer-Darren-Wilson-says-ammunition-solve-lot-problems.html
A group describing itself as a 'Militant Resistance' to a 'corrupt police state' has offered $5000 for details of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson's whereabouts, MailOnline can reveal.
Officer Wilson, 28, has been in hiding on paid leave ever since he gunned down unarmed teenager Michael Brown, 18, on 9 August.
Now, in one of a series of incendiary tweets the RbG Black Rebels have stated, 'We are paying $5k cash for location of Ofc. Darren Wilson. Real $, no joke, no crime we just wana get his photo an ask him a few questions.'
This is going to get much worse.

Report: Alleged Officer Warns Ferguson ‘If You Do Not Have a Gun, Get One’
http://stlouis.cbslocal.com/2014/11/18/report-alleged-cop-warns-ferguson-if-you-do-not-have-a-gun-get-one/
FERGUSON, Mo. (CBS ST. LOUIS) - Law enforcement in the Ferguson area are preparing for potential protests and riots following the grand jury’s decision in the Michael Brown investigation, which is expected sometime this month.
Talking to “St. Louis Coptalk†forum, a supposed police officer in the Ferguson area issued a warning to others in the community to “protect†their families with firearms.
Many posting in the forum expressed fears that demonstrators will take to the streets regardless of the decision made in the Aug. 9 shooting death of the 18-year-old by officer Darren Wilson.
If a cop is saying this, not a good sign.

Muslim groups seek to co-opt Ferguson protests, says watchdog group
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/11/18/muslim-groups-seek-to-co-opt-ferguson-protests-says-watchdog-group/
Muslim groups have stepped up efforts to co-opt protests over the fatal shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., with a drive to equate the teen’s death to the death of a radical Islamist shot during an FBI raid in 2009, a Washington-based security watchdog group is warning.
Using social media, conference calling and traditional outreach methods, leaders of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) are portraying Brown and Detroit mosque leader Imam Luqman Ameen Abdullah as African-American victims of police targeting, according to the Washington-based Center for Security Policy (CSP). In a conference call organized by CAIR-linked "Muslims for Ferguson, a CAIR official called Abdullah a “Shaheed,†or martyr, and said both he and Brown were victims of a national security apparatus that had “completely gone wild†and engaged in “demonizing and criminalizing Muslims.â€
“The reality is that this country, in law enforcement, be it local, state or federal law enforcement, people with guns have always seen black men and black people as threats,†Dawud Walid, executive director of CAIR’s Michigan Chapter, told the some 100 protest organizers on the call, made on the five-year anniversary of Abdullah's death and which was monitored by CSP.
Radical Muslims are involved and in this case CAIR.

http://fox2now.com/2014/11/19/ferguson-grand-jury-could-reach-decision-as-early-as-friday/
FERGUSON, MO – The grand jury hearing evidence on the Michael Brown shooting is preparing to meet Friday for what might be its final session, and a decision on whether to charge Officer Darren Wilson could come the same day, law enforcement officials briefed on the plans said. A grand jury decisions is possibly coming this Friday. We shall see.

King Putt scheduled his big Shamnesty speech for tomorrow night, so I think the decision will be Friday. King Putt's expectation is that the riots will knock Shamnesty off the front page.

Yeah, I saw that theory on The Daily Sheeple web site.
There's 'demonstrations' planned for 82 or so different cities in the US. Top of the list, purely because it's alphabetical? Albany NY. My wife has to drive near that courthouse to get out of Albany. I'm thinking that an 'alternate route' is going to be in order.

I talked to a friend on the Smallville County Sheriff's Office yesterday. Wichita and Kansas City, KS expect some 'activism', but Smallville is not worried about it. Our moonbat population is big by Kansas standards, but not violent.

There some more arrests light in Ferguson. Some idiots thought it was okay to block some streets as a protest.

Go ahead, pull that trigger.

Ferguson Police Use Tear Gas On Al Jazeera America Team (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/14/al-jazeera-ferguson-tear-gas-journalists_n_5678081.html)
The Huffington Post | By Catherine Taibi

An Al Jazeera America news crew covering the tension in Ferguson, Missouri was hit with tear gas by police on Wednesday.
The team was reportedly setting up their equipment for a report on the rising tensions when police threw tear gas and fired rubber bullets towards them. Surrounded by a cloud of tear gas, the crew abandoned their cameras and ran to safety.
All three crew members managed to get out unharmed, a spokesperson from Al Jazeera America said.
"Al Jazeera America is stunned by this egregious assault on freedom of the press that was clearly intended to have a chilling effect on our ability to cover this important story," the network's Jocelyn Austin said. "We believe that this situation must be investigated along with those involving our colleagues at other media outlets."

Ferguson experiences third straight night of unrest before grand jury decision
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/11/22/ferguson-experiences-third-straight-night-unrest-before-grand-jury-decision/?intcmp=latestnews
FERGUSON, Mo. – Authorities arrested three protesters during a third straight night of unrest in Ferguson as tensions mount amid speculation that a grand jury could decide soon whether to indict the police officer who killed Michael Brown.
St. Louis County police said large groups of protesters blocked traffic three times in the St. Louis suburb Friday night. That happened twice near the police station and once on West Florissant Avenue, the site of violent protests soon after Brown's death. A motorist lost control and crashed into a light pole during the unrest on West Florissant. Protesters converged on the car, but no one was hurt.
Police spokesman Brian Schellman said three demonstrators were arrested on charges of unlawful assembly after remaining in the street after repeated requests to move.
No grand jury announcement, but unrest continues. God, I shudder to think what happens when it is announced.

Official: Ferguson grand jury still reviewing evidence
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/11/22/official-ferguson-grand-jury-still-reviewing-evidence/?intcmp=latestnews
FERGUSON, Mo. – Activists, authorities and the family of Michael Brown called for calm as a grand jury drew closer to an announcement in the Ferguson police shooting. But it was unclear whether the panel was still at work or when it would render a decision.
Earlier Friday, a spokesman for St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch told reporters that jurors were reviewing evidence as they weigh whether to indict officer Darren Wilson.
Five hours later, Ed Magee declined to say whether the panel was still meeting.
The time, date and place for a news conference announcing the decision has not been decided, Magee said.
Grand jury is probably still meeting. An announcement is probably soon.

MO State Senator Nasheed Has Gun Put to Her Head at Her House
Vocal Missouri State Senator Jamilah Nasheed has been a regular at the Ferguson protests.
In October Jamilah Nasheed was arrested in Ferguson, Missouri. She was drunk and packing heat.
Last night she tweeted out that she had a gun put to her head.

In Scathing Letter to Obama, Former FBI Assistant Director Slams Holder as "Chief Among Antagonists" in Ferguson

I guess I'm not the only one with this opinion. :-)
Freaking racist White House and administration.
The FBI arrested two men Thursday night accused of purchasing explosives they apparently planned to use during protests in Ferguson, Missouri, a law enforcement source told CBS News.
The men, who live in the St. Louis area, are allegedly members of the new Black Panthers. They were arrested as part of an FBI undercover operation near Ferguson and intended to use the explosives in pipe bombs, the source confirmed.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/ferguson-missouri-grand-jury-decision-not-expected-before-monday/
Multiple sources tell CBS News that the announcement of a grand jury decision in the Michael Brown shooting case is not expected before Monday.
A 12-member jury is weighing whether to indict Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, who is white, with fatally shooting Brown, a black teenager who was unarmed, on Aug. 9.
The case triggered months of protests on the streets of Ferguson, some of which turned violent. Police arrested three protesters on Friday night, the third straight night of unrest.
A decision could come early as Monday.

Ferguson is a suburb in northwest St. Louis. If you weren't headed there intentionally, there's probably no way you would run into it by accident.
The residents probably know where the shitty areas are. You won't find me around 2nd Ave and Lafayette in Nashville when the shit hits the fan.

No arson, gunfire, or looting was reported, and the protestor went home after an hour or so.
