If I were celebrating Christmas, I'd be in a funk because I'm working Christmas eve, the day after and the day after that. I won't have another 2-day weekend until January. I've been working, working, working, so I'm weary and underslept. The little bit of extra money is barely worth it, but I'm trying to focus on next spring when I can quit one p/t job. It's rained almost every day I've had off since July, so I gave up and quit even thinking about riding my pony. On the one nice day I had off last August, I took the dogs on a hike and overdid it, injuring my knee. While that healed, the compensatory action strained my ankle and sciatica. So I couldn't walk the dogs or do much of anything for a couple months. I regained a several of the 5 inches of fat that I'd lost over the prior year, so I'm pretty unhappy about that. And my Christmas present, which really was supposed to be my Yule present, was delayed to the New Year soonest, too. However, on the Solstice, along with my 1st Druid ritual, I started back on my old yoga routine and follow that up with 25 crunches, done ever-more-slowly-and-deeply and holding the last one while I burn. Shocking to find that 15 minutes of yoga starts me sweating. That is a first But my overall health continues good and after just 4 days on my yoga routine I have increased my flexibility and strength.

Miserable as usual. That long thing from Magical Thyme about druids and solstices and yoga and blah blah blah was completely ignored over there. Nobody cares, MT. Not a soul in the world.

So somebody had to be pulled away from their family to make sure you didn't off yourself? Passing away in a bath tub filled with red would've been much more festive.
You just made mine a whole lot happier!Suffer what the hate your life has earned you.
I suspect the dummie had no intention of offing him/her/itself. It probably just wanted some "look at me" attention. Before I forget... Public Service Notice for any dummie who wishes to go down this route tonite or tomorrow:Remember it is up and down the lower arm with the razor blade, not across the arm or wrist!
I know it's just wishful thinking... them actually ending it goes against their entire belief system of bringing the rest of the world down to their sorry existences. Just to add to the public service notice: It's always proper holiday etiquette to decorate yourself with tinsel and garland before you hang yourself with christmas lights. It would also be proper to use several different strands to ensure that the wires actually do hold. These little details will make it a bit more pleasant for the professionals that have to cart your carcass out of your hovel.

I feel for the DUmmies........sends a tickle up my leg.
