1. You mean the man from 2008? The arbiter of all things that are hope and change?
 
The President that will save the Democratic party? The president who says he does not believe in torture but refuses to prosecute war criminals, preferring to call some of the patriotic? The president who has no problem with NSA spying. The President who wants a bill to pass that kills the middle class and gives more money to Wall Street? As far as I can tell, DU wanted Obama, the Democratic Party wanted Obama, The PTB of the Democratic Party (see Pelosi and Kennedy) wanted Obama, so deal with it. We bought the hype and drank the Kool-Aid and nothing changed. So there it is.

This reminds me of the scene where Dorothy finds out there is no Wizard of Oz.

58. Not a savior, we want a person who is the same when campaigning as when in office once elected.
 Pretty sad when a junior senator is better at walking Obama's talk than he is.

 and ceded the limelight to the Tea Partiers.

There should have been a *Liberal* version of the Tea Party from day one pushing the President to fulfill his promises, backing him when he did and chiding him when he didn't.

Now we've learned our lesson there will be more direct democracy in the future, in the form of more marches, protests, demonstrations, consumer and media boycotts, online campaigns etc.
