My view from the National March Against Police Violence {Pic Heavy}

So  [ :yahoo: ]  I ventured into DC today to participate in and photograph the National March Against Police Violence. It was a peaceful march and not nearly as boisterous as I thought it would be. There were chants but they seemed to end quickly--overall it seemed like people are bone-tired (and not from lack of sleep). Of course, this is the impression from the crowd of folks I was in. As anyone whose gone to multiple protests can tell you, you can get different "vibes" in separate sections of the same march.

It was heart wrenching to hear the mothers speak of themselves as belonging to a new kind of sorority... one they neither want to be a part of or asked to join.   [   :o  ] The Rev. Al was a big hit with the older crowd, but not so much the younger from what I noticed and its this attitude that is very telling. It's the younger persons movement, all are welcome of course, but it's the millennials movement and all the non-millennial's acknowledged this. There was also a lot of talk about how the media was trying to portray this movement as being divisive but there was lots of talk about how inclusive today's march was.

Anyway, glad I went and participated in this historic event and I have to echo something Rev. Al said... if they can organize this many people in 8 days, just think how many they can organize if they have to come back in three weeks--and they all vowed to keep coming back but hoping for the day they didn't have to.

A few images I took as I marched (I'm a big fan of signs, as you'll see):

Shitty bouncy story.

1868?

Oh... you mean the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. Passed by Republicans....

Anyway... there are a few photos more. Mostly DUmpmonkiez chanting THANK YOU GOOD JOB I WISH I WAS THERE...

Not really sure where this fad is going.
But I do hope that in the end it hurts the lib/dem/commie cause and agenda.
I really though the same of the occupoop fad, but that didn't seem to hurt the libs much.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

"Black Lives Matter" unless they are unborn, of course.  :banghead:

The cognitive dissonance boggles the mind. How on earth can they claim that black lives matter to them when the abortion rates for NYC alone show that they are KILLING something like 43% of unborn black babies?

Oh wait, black lives matter when they fit a political agenda, I forgot.

You think NYC is bad NOW?

NYC from what I have been told is a strange town, few live there year round except the street people and a good many live in the  tunnels under the transit lines.  Just because the street people end up living this way does not mean these people are with out skills,  interesting life style. The electricians that find them selves down there rewire so the people have lights, TV Cabal  microwave. Plumbers redirect the sewage away from the portable water, carpenters build shanties for them selves and others,

Up top live the some timers who feel wealthy, the people who can afford to rent [ for now] the cost to park their car,  and the $,6.000,00 a month rent on 1600 foot square foot apartment
with no doorman.     Cheaper to live in a opulent hotel, not so much space but more free dome to move about as the economy goes it twisted ways.

NYC is a city that few LIVE in, all come from the outside.

6 million people living for free underground.....democrat utopia.....hell, I don't know either.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

That was before I declared myself to be a black Bassett hound named Dewey.

It's a perishable skill.
Only the most bold would dare it.
Plus where's the payoff ?

Dewey's got nothin' to gain from it, nothin' to prove, and nothin' to lose.

He's a Bassett hound on the edge, but he always has time for the bitches.*
