Could be.  I've never had an eye, ear, or sinus infection, so I wouldn't know.

I managed to get to an optometrist the same day I noticed a problem, and had surgery the next Monday.

I may have had one years ago possibly around elementary school or before then, but nothing recent enough to remember.  It's not something that has ever been a problem for me.  I have friends with kids and a few of them always seem to be suffering from some kind of ear-nose-throat infection.  Makes me wonder how clean their homes are.

Kids are always passing around germs. Good handwashing prevents alot of that.

I have not been sick in over a year.....I also think it's because I do not have kids.

Oh I can see again!!!!   

So it felt like I had a knife stabbed into my eye... and well, that's pretty much what it was!  A piece of metal flew in and embedded its self in, and started to rust, ouch... How the ER doctor missed it  It's out now though, and I'm already feeling better
