...or they would drug it so its muscles would relax and then the guy could be pulled out. They did the same thing on Dirty Jobs once with rodents eaten by snakes for some research/survey job Mike was doing for the show.

Does the fact that Will Pitt could be minus a head and not lose a single IQ point qualify him as a 'miracle of nature?'

I thought the anaconda thing was stupid so I just didn't watch it or even follow any news about it until I saw this.  So the snake was smart enough not to eat a guy in some sort of survival suit? But Will Pitt wasn't smart enough to turn the TV off? Was he hoping it would signify the start of the Fourth Great American Empire, or something?

Another case of a lib leaping before they looked.
If willpitt put any effort into it he would have found out the purpose of the expedition was to "raise awareness" about the plight of the Amazon, and the habitat for the green anaconda.
Usually libs are very supportive of that kind of thing to the extreme.
