Not to be or anything, but I've always half-wondered that in the back of my mind.

Now, viruses were not specifically isolated for another decade or so, but their existence had been proven and they could be cultured. Genetic engineering did not exist, but evolution was widely understood, and strains of virus could be cultured and tested for infectiousness and selected based on that.

The Central Powers' and Entente's use of chemical weapons suggests to me they wouldn't have been squeamish about using it to "win" the war. But you don't even really need to posit a state behind it; this after all was a war started by suicide bombers from an international terrorist cell. The Black Hand, the Bolsheviks, radical-right monarchists, anarchists, pan-Islamists, Zionists, Irish Republicans, hell even Mexican irredentists could have wanted to "bring the system crashing down" (which it certainly did).

The Great War was a big enough disruption to travel and nutrition patterns that the pandemic probably doesn't need another explanation, but I've just always wondered.

OP DUmmy claims to be a Marine veteran of Fallujah, now living in Mumbai India doing some sort of computer software work.  He has actually made sense in the past, but here he reveals why he is just another batshit crazy DUer.

Too little and too late to be in the running for this years DOTY. Maybe an early riser for next year though.

I suppose this theory's along the same lines as another, older, one put forth by white liberal guilt, that the evil white man purposely introduced smallpox and other "western" diseases to North and South America, so as to wipe out the peoples already living here at the time.

To a primitive, nothing happens by random chance or accident; all that happens is because of some planned-out conspiracy.

I am not 100% certain but I think that was a plot point in a movie where that was the first or second attempt to reduce the human population.

Not sure what it means, but I find it interestingly weird that the DUmmtard omitted the US from his list of suspects, despite the US of that time having some of the most advanced medical researchers of the day, a elitist Eugenicist President, and a marked lack of scruples in dealing with their own population let alone foreign ones.

I have a friend that I have known since 1985 that believes this to be true,  he also thinks that crack cocaine was intentionally flooded into the ghettos in order to start a race war.  He retired from the USMC as a Sergeant Major.

Most of the DUmmies believe that the CIA brought crack and cocaine to the US for that very reason.
