Preventing the Sixth Mass Extinction Requires Dealing With Climate Change
blah-blah-blah
So, if I understand this correctly, there have been 5 previous mass extinctions.
None of which were provoked by humans.
But a sixth one is imminent and it's totally our fault and within our control.
Moreover, had any of the previous 5 mass extinctions not occurred humanity would not be here today.
Apparently we are to embrace the acts of nature when they work to our benefit, regardless of their cost on others, but Proglodytes are such special wonderful people they deserve to be placed above all others.
Perhaps a yet-more -superior race is due to emerge in the post -human world (Say, one evolved from bunnies, as just an example). Why are humans allowed to evolve at the expense of other creatures but then call a halt to the process?
