Star Wars: The Force Awakens star John Boyega has posted a message directed at both fans and critics.

Boyega, 22, whose scene in the film’s teaser trailer led to some online criticism of a black Stormtrooper, appeared to address those comments on his Instagram page Saturday.

"To whom it may concern … Get used to it," he wrote. After that sentence, he included a smiley-face emoticon.

Boyega, who starred in 2011’s Attack the Block, also thanked fans for their positive feedback. “Thank you for all the love and support,” Boyega’s message read. “I’m in the movie, but as a Star Wars fan, I’m very excited.”

That's crazy. Since when is there a law written in stone that Stormtroopers must be white?

Since PROGLODYTES insist ALL EVIL descends solely and exclusively from whites.

I'll guarantee that no conservative made this complaint -- only Proglodytes are racist enough to inject such pointless absurdity into everything.

a probable central character, hero, and perhaps love interest of a precious white flower. They are still sick about Lando but this time may hit closer to home.

It was liberal whining and bitching over the "lack of aliens of color"  (IOW, the fictional races created for the fictional worlds created by Lucas, weren't diverse enough) that made George Lucas say "F*** IT" after only 3 of the 6 planned prequels.

Liberals wouldn't make a decent speedbump, playing in traffic.

True. However it's been over 50 years between episode 2 and 7 and those clones have retired from service. Palpatine, in the process of removing all traces of the Galactic Republic, switched from clones to recruiting normal people and training them for the Stormtrooper Corps. In the show Rebels there's an episode where one of the characters infiltrates the academy on his home planet. There is a black kid that is part of his class. So it's no surprise to me that there are black Stormtroopers in service some 30 years after episode 6.

     I don't see what the commotion is about. Stormtroopers do nothing but shoot guns and get shot. They never say anything of note, do anything of note,

That is a common misconception.  The clones were proto-storm troopers.  By the time A New Hope rolled around, they were made up of a polyglot of recruits using various means (we can assume everything from signing bonuses to conscription from worlds that "lost" to the Empire).

After the Kaminoans deployed the clones, they "broke the mold" so to speak -- note that Boba Fett left Kamino.

And, given the voting record of Blacks, you can expect then to be lock-step for anyone who gives them stuff (the Empire is the same as the democrat party).

I never complained about it, but I did wonder why they did it.  Then I didn't care because he does the character so well.
