You know I can’t help but like you, dear cali, but at times you can be well, really silly, in a giggly-gaggly teenage-girl sort of way.

Such as when you gallivant around accusing other people of being “racists.”

cali, dear, I dislike breaking this to you, but you’re pretty racist yourself; you choose to live in one of the whitest states and counties in the whole country.

There might be other, stronger, reasons, you choose to live where you live--the desire for solitude, for example--but because “race” seems to be a cause celebre for you, I wonder if you’re simply trying to get away from “those people.”

My first encounter with your racism, dear cali, was years and years ago, on the old conservativeunderground, where a primitive described the earthquake-proneness of southern California, and expressed concern for the safety of those of African derivation who lived there--it was suggested they be moved to a safer place in the country.

To which your response was, “Well, don’t send them here.”

After wallduding herself into permanent unemployment with the earwig scandal, Eva became a habitual drunkard.

Shortly afterward, in a drunken stupor, she fell and severely shattered a hind leg.

Following surgery to reassemble the bone shards, she became hopelessly addicted to opiate painkillers.
