There are so many sad aspects to Ferguson. Saddest of all
is that it's unlikely anything will change for the better.

There is the personal tragedy for Michael's parents, family and friends What happens when you raise a thug.

There are the psychological wounds inflicted by being devalued by a society. So true, society should admire robbers and criminals I guess.

There is the militarization of police forces Watching leftist riots, destruction and looting over the years I wonder why?

There is the evidence that outright racism is prevalent and has increased because we have a black President Who happens to be the biggest racist of all.

There is the corruption of the legal process as exemplified by the GJ process and the prosecutor Damn them for using evidence!

There is the further alienation of black people in this country Especially when they act like rabid animals.

And with a deeply racist republican congress and so many republican state legislatures, it's difficult to see any hope on the horizon. Keep telling yourself that scrunt,it makes the denial of policy rejection so easier.

Fighting racism is so difficult, in party, because of how racism has become more sophisticated and accepted in that form. You leftist filth have so vacated the word racist of any meaning no one even listens anymore.

2. Yet, it's likely that the national unrest it triggered was noticed

It's pretty clear that across the nation people have reached their limit of tolerance for hasty untempered police violence and institutional asymmetries in the application of 'justice'.

TPTB can't help but see the instability in the mountain of resentment that's accumulated is a precursor for an avalanche of radical change.

Silencing a community with appeals to rule of law and shows of force will be insufficient when disappointment in 'the rule of law' goes from suspect local acts of unfairness in its application to full knowledge and awareness of its obvious nationwide failure

A few hundred savages going on a rampage does not equal national unrest.

5. In a way we gave the racist cover

By making them ashamed to use the N word.
When the did use it they identified themselves, and now they can claim they are not racist because they don't use it.

That is prety simplistic but in some ways it has worked to give them deniability...and now that they perceive the cops are on their side they will only become bolder.

Born stupid or work on it daily?

6. I think you right and I don't think it would have been any different even if the protests had been

totally peaceful. All the rioting does is give the police and those in favor of status quo an excuse that makes it sound reasonable.

The only hope I hold out is Congress and the President and that flies out the window as the new congress takes over.

You will enjoy the FEMA camps! :naughty:

7. I feel the saddest of all...

about the devaluation (your word) of people like Michael Brown. I would use the word dehumanization, and I find that tactic far more evil than any wickedness Michael Brown would have ever in his life achieved.

I read here last night a transcript of someone questioning the man who was with Michael Brown that day. The attorney continually used her questions to dehumanize Michael Brown, calling him Big Mike, and likening him to something giant, and angry, and ready to pounce on anything that might threaten him.

I think that attorney should hang her head in shame over her portrayal of Michael Brown.

I call him a useless piece of shit. :cheersmate:

grassroots groups dedicated to teaching and learning about white privilege and how it has created the deep divides among us.

So that's a small but significant change for the better.

We don't need to worry about the make believe "white privilege" BS. Things aren't going to change until the black community starts some grass roots groups to civilize their community and start raising children instead of raising future convicts/drugdealers/gangbangers/and hos.

Precious few of which did the first damn thing to teach/show him how not to be a violent, anti social, piece of human garbage.

There are the psychological wounds inflicted by being devalued by a society.

If there is any stigma attached to "black" behavior, it is one that has been earned through the outward reflection of that individual's "values".  If there is any "devaluation", it was achieved through self immolation of character and honor.

There is the corruption of the legal process as exemplified by the GJ process and the prosecutor

I sincerely hope that you're someday on the wrong side of a legal action that discards evidence in favor of a purely emotional, irrational, preconceived outcome.  I really do...

Yeah, because destroying the family structure, herding them into tight pockets, destroying their education, and feeding their psychosis is such a better choice and not racist at all.

Actually, DUmmie, it's not.  But, when you prolong the problem to benefit yourself, it becomes a very large problem for everyone else.  Not that you actually have to deal with it in your lily white state.

The Primitives remind me of a frenzied Alice in Wonderland, falling through the rabbit hole.

 :panic:

A big drugged out bully steals, strong arms a store clerk, acts like King Kong walking down the middle of the street, tells a cop to go f*** himself, slams the car door on the cop at least twice, slugs the cop and then grabs the cops gun and tries to shoot him with it.  When the cop finally gets the advantage, Brown responds by charging the cop like a bull.

So according to the primates, it's all the cops fault and Brown is this poor misunderstood, innocent kid.

The step father that helped raise him is a felon and then incites a riot by telling the already agitated protesters to "Burn this bitch down".  So they did.

That might work on someone who hasn't read the transcript. But unfortunately for you, I have.

The witness told the attorney he would prefer to call Michael Brown "Big Mike" since that's what he knew him as. The attorney said that was certainly OK, and for the sake of consistency would the witness mind the attorney also calling him "Big Mike." The witness said that would be OK.

Look dimwit, you want to read things into what happened beyond the facts that's up to you. Just don't expect decent and civilized people to fall in line with you, as you can see from my above answer that I will not.

I'm gonna go with "No!" But then again, I don't hang out at kook websites like you do and believe what's happening there has anything to do with reality.

I'm going to say most reasonable people, like myself, are at the same place on this. We knew the first night after the decision was announced would likely make for some good HoodTV. And it did to a degree, but it wasn't anything really great. Now, I've just lost interest and am waiting for what little I do see about it to go away. And it will. The only other entertaining part is reading nutjobs like you still getting worked over about it and actually convincing yourselves that anyone who matters also cares. We don't. But that's my own private enjoyment. Most people already have you on ignore.

Few, if any, but they heard what was broadcast and that should have been more than enough to convince any sane individual that they were lied to (they don't care) and Wilson was completely justified in the course of action taken (they don't care).  If the (D)emented (D)Marxist assholes had any honesty in their make-up, this would be a moment to reevaluate ones entire point of view.

Pffffttt..... yeah, right.

The Conservative side is peppered with examples of just such a thing.  Breitbarts' epiphany over Clarence Thomas, Klavaan, and thousands of others, over 9/11 and so on.  These sub-humans are irretrievably insane.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

No. Even if they did, they would call it all lies.  Once a dummy has written the script in their head, there is no changing it.

reason to believe Wilson was either on steroids or speed. There's just no other explanation for his erratic and reckless behavior as suggested by Johnson's testimony. It's positively creepy.
