I don't need any responses to this...I just need to write this down

I need to be able to return to this post as a reality check.

The apparition has been back. I sit here, an educated, knowledgeable adult, knowing it's an apparition. And I know it's due to a biological issue like epilepsy that is triggered in my temporal lobe.

But...it is -so- convincing.

It makes me so incredibly sad to feel so absolutely crazy.

1. That's what most people don't understand about mental illness.

(I know you said you didn't need any responses. I just felt moved to add something in the same vein of thought.)

The brain is the organ through which you perceive reality. When there is disorder in the brain, when the brain is sick, it changes how you perceive reality. The brain can malfunction to the point that it creates a totally different "reality" that seems every bit as real as the ordinary reality, the real one, that most people experience. That is just outside of the realm of understanding for most people. The only people who truly know how it feels are those afflicted with brain disorders. It's a real mind****.

Well, that explains a lot.

It isn't just a feeling, DUmmy.

You ARE absolutely crazy.

That should make you feel a little better.

Hmmm, started smoking pot in his early teens while his "brain" was still developing, kept doing it for too long, and now he's a full-blown schizophrenic.

1628? Isn't that the year one of TiT's forebear was exiled into Tejas?

Here, DUmmie, I can fix you right up.

Just sit down in this chair, and let me find my butterknife.

No way. TiT's ancestors had huge ranches in Texas before Columbus set sail.

DUmmieSince1628 just verified what I've known for a long time:
LIBERALISM IS A MENTAL DISEASE.

'Nuff said.   :mental:
Murphy's 3rd Law:  "You can't make anything 'idiot DUmmie proof'.  The world will just create a better idiot DUmmie."

Liberals are like Slinkys.  Basically useless, but they do bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

Global warming supporters believe that a few hundred million tons of CO2 has more control over our climate than a million mile in diameter, unshielded thermo-nuclear fusion reactor at the middle of the solar system.

You can't fix stupid, but you can vote it out of office.
