Why the Ds lost in 2014 .... my rant to a friend in Wisconsin

The reasons for the democratic losses in the last elections are many:

1) 2014 w/the help of a dirty media was one of the most corrupt elections ever. Power being cut from voting locations in Florida, Georgia's Sec. of State "lost" 40,000 new democratic registrations, in Louisiana voting machines didn't show up at black voting precincts until 9:00 AM by which time many working people had to leave and go to their jobs, North Carolina had electronic voting machines "flipping votes" from D to R, 33 states w/Republican Sec. of State were running a software program that kicked out votes from people who "might be voting twice" (something that doesn't happen) people in Kansas and Wisconsin voting against their own best interests, Chicago area voting officials getting calls from republicans that kept them from showing up at their jobs for hours which cost God knows how many votes, and just strange results

2) Mitch McConnell and others got together in January of 2009 and put together a plan to block anything and everything that President Obama would try to do and run a "scorched earth" game plan to gridlock the government and because we have a corporate controlled media the meme was sold "that both sides were at fault"for the gridlock even though that just wasn't true. Low voter turn out was the GOP's goal w/their gridlock.

3) Failure of many of the democrats to stand up for what is good for the people ...... these republicans are nut balls they want to sell off everything, close public schools, close the USPO (post office), take away health care and reproductive rights from women, and lots of other crap .... We should have won in a walk in some cases ..... republicans in the House spent 3 days to pass a bill that would take away overtime pay from workers. Take away overtime pay from workers?? Are you ****ing kidding me? Gerrymandering also made many congressional races almost impossible to win.

4) President Obama has done one of the best jobs in history as POTUS but many democrats ran away from him ...... Democrats such as Al Franken and Alan Grayson who ran supporting the President and Progressive ideas won their races easily. Other progressive ideas won in red states too.

5) Republicans Cheat end of story

6) The geography of many of the races were not favorable to democrats.

7) Traditionally a party that has been in the White House for 2 terms doesn't do well in the 6th year's elections.

8) Nationally, state, and local traditional democratic leaders were the "limp grooms" on the wedding night.

9) Citizens United allowed billions of $s in dark money to corrupt the process ...... The Koch Brothers are sitting on $100 billion in tar sands oil and they saw investing in the GOP as a good business move.

10) MY guess is that 30% of Americans still can't stand the idea that a n***** is the President and that 30% votes.

11) The demographics for the GOP nationwide is brutal so they have to lie, cheat, and steal to keep power and the media helps them ...... example they played the "fear of Ebola and secure the borders" card very well in the last election but truth be told Obama started working on Ebola in late spring 2014, his pick as surgeon general was blocked by republicans, and the GOP blocked requests by the White House for funding to fight ebola many different times ...... but with a dirty media America never heard these truths. BTW now that the election is over do you heart anything about ebola? Parts of Africa >90% death rate from ebola but in the USA >90% cure rate for ebola.

12) Not enough homes in America have Sporobolus heterolepis and homes that have Sporobolus heterolepis vote liberal.

after which a photograph of a dog ???

You lost in 1980,1984,1988,1994,1998,2000,2002,2004,2010 and 2014 because the public does not want liberalism.
When you have won it was by lying about what you are and will do.

Well, that might have cost one or two votes, tops.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

I'm intensely curious about something.

How come "gerrymandering" was never an issue on Skins's island until after the mid-term elections of 2010?

Seriously, the primitives never talked about it, as if the Democrats hadn't been doing it since 1804 or something.

Anybody know why it's an issue now?

A.  The Republicans finally figured out what the Dems were doing

B.  They need something/someone to blame for losing.

Gerrymandering is even more tortured now, since liberal courts have required district lines to maximize the representation of 0bamaite voters.

So while nice logical borders could be drawn around urban blue cesspools, guaranteeing an 0bamaite a seat with 99% of the vote, they instead have to distribute the 0bamaites among multiple districts so they might elect more than that single seat.

And that distribution of the 0bamaites can't be done in a way to dilute their votes and pave the way for normal people to win elections.

It has to assure swarms of 0bamaites in multiple districts.

It's like electoral forced busing.

After 2006 and 2008 dumbocrats were never going to lose an election again,it was done and inevitable that they would be in power for all possible foreseeable future.
We all know the reason why 2010 was a demolition but it is impossible for a leftist to ever grasp that people do not agree with them 100%
Thus they had to create a reason why water was running uphill and this is one of the excuses.
It fills their need to be a powerless and innocent victim and in need of a messiah.

Working purely from memory and something I read, evidently there was a recent voter rights bill done that required redrawing districts (for the reasons you stated).  Of course, the (D)Marxists loved this until the expected results didn't happen and now it's gErRyManDErINGreTHUGliKKKans!!!1111ElebIntY!!!!!six

No (D)Ummies, it wasn't reTHUGliKKKans using their evil Chenypowers.  It was court ordered.  On MSLSD, while they were sedating Tingles after the latest (D)ebacle, some goof started talking about the "voters rights bill" and how the (D)Marxists needed to, get this, repeal it.   :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:   because of gerrymandering, of course!

You want to talk about voter suppression, idiots?

That "voting against their self interest" bullshit is excuse number 4 in the dem playbook as to why they lost the election.  It is always in the liberal rags Op-Eds when they lose.
