You know, dude, you got me into a lot of trouble with ownership and management of conservativecave some months ago, when you came here whining that I was being “mean” to you.

Since conservativecave demands that members be kind and considerate of the sensibilities of primitives, I got taken out to the woodshed by Chris_, who wields a pretty nasty baton.

It was drummed into me that I had to stop being “mean” to you.

Okay, okay, I said, in between blows; I’ll be nice to Atman; I won‘t give Rob a bad time any more.

And I hadn’t; not a bad word about Atman in the DUmpster since then; not the slightest denigration of character.

I promised that with the idea that if I wasn’t mean to you any more, you in turn wouldn’t be mean to conservativecave, and maybe that you’d even forget we exist.

It’s called “reciprocity,” dude.  Look it up in the dictionary.

And then you go and write that shit.

This is most troubling.  We take great measures to assure that the primitives are treated with the finest discussions considering their self-described superior intellects.  We clearly have offended the Atman in some way.  Maybe a nice bouquet of flowers would improve his spirits in some way.

Considering the pit of hatred racism and mysogny you posted that at...I take what you said about CC as a compliment.

And so you've been witness to some of the most spectacular failures at trying to get along with the primitives.

No matter how nice, how accommodating, how positive, one is towards a primitive, it never works.  Even with the most Herculean efforts, one can't assuage their rage, their hate, their paranoia, their hostility, their insecurities, about decent and civilized people.

I need not cite my own woeful experiences at trying to get along with primitives, beginning with the defrocked warped primitive Ms. Hindenberg and hippywife Mrs. Alfred Packer circa ten years ago, and most recently with Big Mo and Doc, the PCIntern primitive--a long long string of failures uninterrupted by a single success.

There was no way Atman could come even close to the cerebrality and wit of dutch508, but I thought it would be more entertaining if the fight was more "equal."

I offered to be Atman's public relations mentor, showing him how to win friends and influence people, as he was quite obviously deficient in those skills.

Atman spurned the offer.

Later, I figured it out; Atman actually likes being tormented.

Well now, because he didn't keep his mouth shut after I shut mine, I guess it's time to rev up the tormenting machine again, giving him what he really wants.

Then in a thread about storage-unit auctions, it suddenly appeared that life hasn't been such a bed of roses for Atman after all.

While it's preposterous to think that Atman has known poverty, he has at times known financial desperation.....something that "humanized" him in these eyes.

And so I began noticing other things; his choice of cheap haberdashery perhaps really is a necessity, not a choice, unlike in the case of Skippy.

And then that Atman, a professional artist, can afford to decorate the walls of his son's home with picture-frames from.....Dollar General.

I was beginning to thaw towards him just about the exact same time he whined to ownership and management of conservativecave that I was being mean to him.

Well, that's all history now.

For example, if you've ever seen Atman naked, the first thing that strikes the eyes, other than a certain anatomical oddity that doesn't look good, is how hairy the rest of him, below the neck, is.  This guy's hairy like a baboon.

I kid you not; he's got more body hair than a bear.

He looked like a five-hundred-pounder who had gastric bypass surgery, lost three hundred pounds, and then went to a wedding wearing cheap clothes from his pre-surgery days.

It would've made sense if he'd also had huge shoes and face paint.
