Let’s get this one straight: I talk about conservatives a lot.  While I’m not a liberal (nor conservative) I do understand that there’s a serious gap in logic in how conservatives function and I call that out a lot.  But in response to the Democratic Party getting demolished by the Republicans in the House of Representatives and the Senate, I think it’s time to engage in HONEST criticism of the more liberal party, the Democrats.  This time, it’s probably going to be the Republicans and/or conservatives laughing their asses off at you, hard.  I highly implore every Democrat, liberal or progressive to check out this radically honest criticism.

Dave Pollack Johnny, everything you wrote is true, but that's not the problem. The problem is messaging. Our economy has rebounded, Bin Laden is dead, stocks are at record highs, yet Democrats acted like Obama's policies have been failures and refused to admit that they even voted for him. Most of their ads were about Republicans war on women's rights, which is important, but obviously, it didn't work. They should have been out talking about how Republicans destroyed the economy and Democrats revived it. How Republicans allowed us to be attacked and lied us into war, and Democrats are getting us out. How Republicans don't value science and want to teach right-wing propaganda as fact to students.

Democrats are good policy makers but weak leaders. Republicans are strong leaders but their policies are catastrophic for our country. Democrats just need to grow a collective spine.

Allowing DUmmies to define "racism" is like allowing a plenaria to define "string theory". They just ain't built for it.  See their definition of "fascism".

Egalitarianism is equality of outcome, enforced by the State's sword. There is no room for free will in an egalitarian society. Libertarianism is free will, limited by nature, individual conscience, and the equal rights of one's fellow Citizens.

Egalitarian = collectivist. Libertarian = individualist. The two ideas are incompatible.

DUmmies don't believe in the sovereignty of the individual, the proper role of government as servant of the Citizen, or the natural rights of life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness. It is impossible for them to conceive of, much less create, a philosophy which contradicts the essence of their worldview- that Man is subordinate to the State, and that Man's life and wealth are the State's to dispense and control.
