And it's a SPECIAL leadership post, at that. Read that as: no real job, but will sound appropriately impressive to the "stupid voters", aka the democrat base.

Hard to tell from the story, but I believe this whole thing is purely within the Democrat Party's structure in the Senate (Like Majority Leader or Whip), not an actual Senate office like a committee chairperson.

Yes. McConnell wouldn't have anything to do with her from what I understand. This would be the Dems issue alone. She would be a part of the Democratic Party's leadership. They are prepping her for a Presidential run, on the outside they are all salivating for Hillary but I can bet you anything they are secretly trying to find a new Presidential Hopeful. Hillary is too entrenched with Obama. You can't just forget that she was his Secretary of State. They are looking for a back up/ running mate for Hillary since they know she might not be able to carry the campaign on her own (if at all) at the end of Obama's presidency.

If she wins the Democrat nomination, she'll get beat worse than Mondale.

Conservatively, I could comfortably clear $50 billion if I had the pay-per-view rights.  Throw in a little advertising revenue and maybe some strategic product placement (remind me to contact the manufacturer of Botox® in the morning, by the way) and I could conceivably pay off the national debt with it. :cheers1:
