So, Im kinda sick of Tapatalk not behaving, so Im attempting to fix it. There may be interruptions as I mess with the database. I think purging all traces of the old installation first will help.

While you're at it, how about eliminating the tapatalk signature line that shows up at the end of comments one writes if one's using tapatalk?

You know, the one that brags "this being sent via my superduper state-of-the-art ultra-expensive tapatalk."  Or something like that.

It looks silly.....not to mention pretentious, as if one's boasting.

The Tapatalk signature 'feature' is embedded by the users themselves. They need to disable it on their phones/tablets to suppress posting it at the end of every message. Its a one click setting.

BTW, I have it working - Sort of :

I am having issues with the original installation. There is a user key lodged in a database somewhere that conflicts with the new one I generated for testing purposes. Either the old tapatalk account needs to be deleted, or I need to know what the original key was so I can then delete my test account.
