Yesterday I ran over a cute little squirrel.
A week or so ago it was a little bunny.

At work they made fun of my anguish...they said it was just something more for my crock pot.
I would brake for them, but they dart out in front of me. Its not my fault.

Whats ironic is I just bought pork chops. They were in my car on the way home when I decimated the urban wildlife yet again...so I am using my crock pot right after this incident.
I'll think about you, little squirrel, as I dine on another dead animal tonight.

That was some other squirrel's brother/sister/son/daughter. They are grieving in their leaf lined nest.

Yesterday a swooping ptarmigan forced me to swerve ...right into an erstwhile adorable bunnyrabbit.
