I am surprised Jonas Salk isn't on the list for medicine! He should be.
Jonas Salk was an American Jew....not an Israeli Jew. He was born in the US and a US citizen.
That list is of Israeli Jews.
Apparently not since Einstein, Kissinger, Bohr, Hertz, Franck and Friedman are on it, who were all German or American, and the list predates the founding of Israel by many decades. Despite the title, it looks like it's comparing global achievements of all Jews vs. all Muslims, and actually doesn't have a damned thing to do with the nation of Israel in a direct way. It's an internet list, not to be taken as 100% reliable - the original author made his or her point, but that doesn't mean you can take the list to the bank and that there wasn't someone omitted or included who shouldn't be.
