The incompetents and arrgance of the new Airport "security" has become boundless as you give up your rights when you enter airport property nbow. Commercial flying was once a pleasure, now, thanks to islamofascism, bureaucratifc bullies , crappy managment, treating PAYING customers like cattle on the way to the slaughter house, mislpaced authority etc etc ewtc, flying is a nightmare.

I saw this comming before 9-11, and decided I'd rather spend a few days on the road than tollerate the crap the supposed "security" these people, many of whom are, at best, semi literate and incapable of correctly managing authority (like Cartman) .

If I were traveling to Europe, I'd go by ship, where you are a highly valued customer, hell, you're even welcome on cargo ships if you make the arangements well in advance. In ALL cases, you are treated FAR better than anyone in any aspect of domestic commercial aviation treats you these days.

BTW, this was inevatable once these morons got federal job protection.. And,what "threat" did this woman pose to commercial aviation?

On a side note, I have never had a bad encounter with the TSA.  The one time that I have been "randomly" selected for the full screening, it was because of a bitch behind the ticket counter of American Airlines.  The TSA apoligized to me several times throughout the ordeal, since they thought it was absolutely ridiculous to do all of that for someone in the military.

Now there was one time where I almost had an episode with a airport cop at BWI.  This lady was dropping a friend off, then pulled away a few feet, realized her friend had left her purse in the car, stopped the car infront of the door (no parking zone), and ran in to give her friend the purse.  She was gone 10 seconds.  Now this cop (who just 10 minutes earlier I had watched getting "trained" on how to give tickets) walked out and saw the car just as she went running back to it.  He started to get a real attitude with her as he pulled out his ticket book, and she was very calm and tried to explain the situation to him.  I walked over to give this guy a neutral account of the situation because I thought he was being a total dick to the woman.  The prick swung around on me, shouted at me to shut up and back away, and placed his hand on his beat down stick like he was going to pull a Rodney King on me. 

Discretion took the better part of valor there and I decided to just back away and gave the woman an apologetic shrug.  Since I was waiting for my to be future wife to pick me up, I figured I'd save her the issue of me being arrested while getting my head beat in.
