And no, Stephen was not an obstreperous toddler when this happened. He was 45 years old. This embarrassing scene happened two years ago and the episode is just one of the many challenges we have faced since Stephen, our second child, was born with Down's Syndrome.
So difficult has it been that I can honestly say I wish he hadn't been born.

My sister is Down's Syndrome. She is 48. My mother said it at the time and both my parents have always considered her a gift. She can function on her own, in a loosely supervised group home, up in Northern Illinois. She has flown numerous times with the parents and likes it, however, I have encountered many severely retarded that do have debilitating anxiety issues and I understand the frustration.
This is a human being, you f***ing rotted human scum. She does have one thing over you ranting, petulant infants . She is happy, well adjusted and has held numerous jobs*. Now, who's retarded, (D)scUmbags?
* - And she hates the Packers!

7. That poor parent, to feel such frustration in dealing with their child.
Good choice, pond scum.
Exactly, because that would make homosexuality a birth defect.
