Lawyers for a nurse quarantined in a New Jersey hospital say they’ll sue to have her released and file a constitutional challenge to state restrictions for health care workers returning to New York and New Jersey after treating Ebola patients in West Africa. Civil liberties attorney Norman Siegel said Kaci Hickox, who was quarantined after arriving Friday at the Newark airport, shows no symptoms and should be released immediately. He and attorney Steven Hyman said the state attorney general’s office had cooperated in getting them access to Hickox. The lawyers, speaking outside Newark University Hospital, where Hickox is quarantined, said they spent 75 minutes with her on Sunday. They said she was being kept in a tented area on the hospital's first floor with a bed, folding chairs and little else — they said she was able to get a laptop computer with wi-fi access only Sunday. But they said she is not being treated. “She is fine. She is not sick,†Hyman said. Photos they released showed her in hospital garb peering through a plastic window of the tented-off area.
Quarantine the lawyers too when they meet with her.
CBS Reports that a group of US soldiers returning from the Ebola region have landed in Italy to begin their 21 day quarantine prior to returning to the United States. The Joint Chief of Staff stated all returning US military will be subject to this protocol prior to returning to US soil out of an abundance of precaution.

FORT KENT, Maine. -- Gov. Paul LePage said Wednesday that Ebola nurse Kaci Hickox was "unwilling" to follow state health guidelines and that he was seeking legal authority to force her to remain quarantined at a rural home in Maine for 21 days.Hickox, who does not have any symptoms of the deadly virus, said Wednesday that she would not abide by quarantine rules that she said were "not scientifically nor constitutionally just.""I don't plan on sticking to the guidelines," Hickox tells Today show's Matt Lauer via Skype. "I am not going to sit around and be bullied by politicians and forced to stay in my home when I am not a risk to the American public."
People are support this scrunt saying that she isn't showing any symptoms. I say err on the side of caution rather than having to backtrack her steps and contacts if she does become symptomatic.
She keeps on harping on her "rights'. She conveniently avoids talking about her responsibilities. She needs to be responsible to the rest of the community. As a nurse she should know better.
