Gotta remember too that Progressives everything as a political move/effort/event. 

People like Obama and others don't take a dump without first considering the political ramifications of what they are about to do.

And because they live their life that way...when something like ISIS or this Ebola outbreak pop up and quick decisive action is needed...you get the responses we're seeing to both instead...because before they do anything...they first consider the political calculus of even taking any kind of action...then they've got to consider what the political impact is of what action they do take...and so on and so on.
