 Dolo Amber and whoisalhedges were long time du'ers who have not posted here in a while.
 
However they are both simultaneously out of work; and have applied for public assistance, but are still tied up in red tape; and the power is going to be shut off if they don't get them over $1000 by next Monday.

OMG, yesterday I was listening to the radio and the station had an ad about some give-a-way they had going and then the disclaimer. It wasn't just fast talking, they literally had to have sped up the recording. I could only catch about 1 in 5 words.

I don't.  I've already done my share of "supporting" my poor neighbor's electricity consumption. (Had a neighbor that was tapping into my meter to power their grow lights.  When they moved were evicted/arrested, my power bill dropped by 75% in the middle of summer, damned near overnight.)

Something just seems fishy about this.

First, they are allegedly both out of work, but dems have been fixing the economy since 2006. Plus, just a week or so ago BamBam's teleprompter instructed him to tell everyone that the economy is good. Did the teleprompter lie to their master? Have the dems not fixed the economy from the "terrible" W days when people had jobs?

Finally, how can they be tied up red tape? I thought the dems were supposed to bring utopia.
