I think a certain group in the St Louis area doesn't recognize their city, or at least a portion of their city, could become the next Detroit if they don't mind their manners.

The cycle begins. The cops will leave the area, crime will jump up, the residents will beg for the cops to patrol more, some other criminal gets shot, the fools riot, the cops leave the area.... Maybe it's time the cops just don't come back, or they patrol but just let things happen. These groups want to live in a wild jungle, let them.

And how exactly does a person run in a way that suggests he has a gun? If the gun was, as this story claims, tucked into his waistband, then how would it influence the manner of his running so that a cop could tell by looking that the kid had a gun?

It's really all about my brother.

See, my brother married a woman whose family immigrated from Jamaica.

She was unable to have a child, so they were able to adopt a mixed race child very quickly because they are a mixed race couple.

My beautiful cocoa brown nephew keeps me awake at night.

See, he's twelve now, and my brother tells me about how he's no longer considered a customer in stores, but is now a suspect.

A twelve year old child has to face the reality that society considers him different because of his beautiful skin.

I don't sleep well at night. The nightmares about my nephew tend to awaken me at odd hours.

So yeah, I hate ****ing pigs who murder brown people because they can.

I hate a justice system that allows white cops to murder brown kids with impunity.

I don't sleep well at night, and never will again so long as white cops are allowed to murder black kids with impunity and ZERO accountability.

I love my nephew.

I will despise every cop so long as no cops stand up against the cops murdering unarmed brown kids with impunity and zero accountability.
