Michigan State fans boo anti-rape PSA shown at football game...because of Obama

There's this story going around sports forums and right wing media that Michigan State's student section booed a public service announcement shown on the video board during Saturday's Michigan State vs. Nebraska football game. Why? Because the PSA was part of the White House's "It's on Us" campaign against rape - and had President Obama speaking at the end.

What a classy bunch of young people at MSU. I wonder how many of them have preyed on drunken women and will never understand what consent is, because their right to f*** outweighs any modicum of human decency.

appears to be stuck in the dark ages. In these times of people blaming the victim and railing against so-called "political correctness", they've probably been taught all their lives to be backwards. Even as a man, I'm disgusted by the reactions of those students.

The real story comes out - I can just hear the alert buttons being pounded...

Let me make something VERY clear. We were not booing the PSA. None of us support rape, domestic violence or anything of the sort. We were booing Obama. Obama's face came on the screen at the end and that's when the boos started. I doubt 95% of us even know what the PSA was (it was loud, the PSA couldn't be heard at all). Whether you feel booing Obama is bad is a different matter, but don't dare say that we were booing the support against domestic violence. Because that is simply false

The moment I heard about this incident, I knew that the left would try to silence it by claiming the people were booing the message and not Obama.
