Are you a woman? Are you between the ages of 18 and 24? Have you read the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy, that tour de smut — and sadism, and lots of bondage?
 
If so, you probably enjoy a good binge-drinking session and have already racked up at least five sexual partners in your lifetime. You are also more likely to suffer from an eating disorder and have had a boyfriend or husband who has yelled at you or stalked you.
 
These findings are the result of a totally necessary study undertaken by researchers at Michigan State University, the Daily Mail reports.
 
Specifically, the researchers spent part of their professional lives learning that young female readers of the initial “Fifty Shades” novel are 34 percent more likely than women who haven’t read it to have been part of a romantic relationship involving a person with stalker traits, 25 percent to have been yelled at by a lover and 75 percent more likely to have used some diet aid — or fasted for at least 24 hours.
 
For women in the same group who have read all three “Fifty Shades” books, the investigators found that they are 65 percent more likely to enjoy at least five drinks on a given occasion at least a half dozen different times per month. And they are 63 more likely to have had at least five sexual partners in their lifetimes.

I dunno, I think bondage is about as stupid as that furry bullshit myself, and I don't have much contact with slutty wimmins in that particular demographic.  It is pretty popular with older and fatter female demos, though...my wife, also an author, wasn't that impressed with it, except for the size of the revenue figures, but then she thinks bondage is stupid too.

I have zero interest in reading it.  I hear they made it into a movie that I will probably never watch.
