DUmbasses missed it. It already happened.

Alaskan oil couldn't be there unless the North Slope at some time in the past had a tropical climate.

In geological time it could happen again.

That is something the global warming cultists don't like to talk about.  Also consider that reptilian dinosaur fossils have been found in what is now frozen climate areas.
