And people wonder why they are getting fat...

I have a set of coupons (I'll never use them, they came in the local shopper's weekly) from Hardee's.

"Mile High Bacon Thickburger"

"1/3rd Pound Original Thickburger"

"1/4 Pound Little (?) Thickburger."

"Big Hot Ham And Cheese"

"Big Chicken Fillet Sandwich"

"Bacon Egg And Cheese Biscuit"

"Biscuit 'N Gravy"

"Ham And Velveeta Biscuit."

Oh, I don't know.  I can eat all of that and not gain a pound, because I stay active and engage in that four letter word (w-o-r-k).

2. Gross!

Yeah!  It's missing xanthan gum!  Grasswipe Judy would be salivating if xanthan gum were listed in the OP.

3. People get fat cause they eat too much of the wrong foods.

Why?

We..in the USA are addicted to the wrong foods..high in fat, salt and sugar..
We start eating them, and we cannot stop....end of rant...

This could all be solved if we nationalized Burger King!!!  Ban fast food!!

Again, I can eat all of that, and then some, because I work.  I hover right around 7% body fat.  Get off your ass and do something, and you can pretty much eat whatever you want, in moderation.

26. People can get fat from eating too much of the right foods, too.

It is about total calorie consumption. Consuming more calories than the body needs to function results in the excess calories being stored as fat.

That said, it is much better to eat healthy foods in moderate amounts, and exercise.

^^NO primitive responses as of yet to this common-sense talking primitve's post.

17. Popcorn without butter is

well, just like Popcorn Without Butter!

There are somethings in life that just go together!

Amen.  If the Stuart G primitive came after my buttered popcorn, I'd snap off his cock, real or otherwise.

11. Those commercials for what I describe as obscene burgers/and sandwiches

make me never want to eat in those places.

And it's just not the burger joints either.

People gain weight for a lot of reasons. Some bad habits. Some medical conditions cane cause weight gain.

While it is true that some weight gain is caused by medical conditions, most of cases are more likely related to glandular problems- salivatory glands, to be exact.

When the government didn't pay people not to work their wasn't an obesity problem among the poor.....only the evil rich were fat. Now the rich or the slender ones and poor are the fat ones.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

I think Gobucks also has  a good saying about how you can measure someone's lack of affluence in America by how fat they are.

Yep BH. What always gets me is the libbies say it is because the poor, poor, pitiful poor cannot afford healthy food.  Nope. It is because they shove more calories in their pie hole than their body uses. That is it in a nutshell.

All that sounds great to me.

I think food snobs are more obnoxious and delusional than wine snobs, or even beer snobs.
