One year we planned a cruise almost a full year in advance. On cruise day we got to the airport and the airlines cancelled our flight and put us on a bus that broke down 10 times.
Needless to say, we missed the cruise. Royal Caribbean paid for us to stay 2 extra nights in Florida and then flew us to Jamaica and taxied us to meet the cruise when it was docked.
That in itself was reason enough to be grateful to Royal Caribbean but once we got on the cruise, we got an additional surprise, Royal Caribbean refunded us part of the cost of our cruise.
It was not even Royal Caribbean's fault but they made sure we were taken care of.
We will always be Royal Caribbean customers!
