I think if they were protecting a White President they would have been a lot
   
more vigilant.. I’m sorry, but thats the way I feel..Oh yea. I know that several of the agents are Black, but you know what, I’m still pissed!!

An intruder scaled a White House fence and made it all the way into the building Friday evening before he was caught and wrestled to the ground by security officers, the Secret Service said. President Obama and his family had already left for Camp David when the incident occurred.

Omar J. Gonzalez, 42, of Copperas Cove, Texas, near Ft. Hood, was arrested and charged with unlawful entry to the White House complex. He was taken to George Washington Medical Center after complaining of chest pain during his arrest, according to a late-night statement from the Secret Service.

Gonzalez climbed the fence on the north side of the White House, where protesters frequently gather, and then sprinted the roughly 100 yards to the front door while officers gave chase, according to an agency official. Officers saw that he was empty-handed and so did not release dogs or fire their guns, the official said.

So, yes, this intruder made it all the way to the WH itself  - ~100 yards sprint - before being caught. But Obama and family had left the building. Thus many Secret Service agents who would ordinarily be onsite were accompanying BHO - protecting BHO - rather than at the WH.

So the DU-folk missed a key fact: the Secret Service agents who did not catch this intruder until he reached the WH were not there protecting BHO, because BHO wasn't there to be protected. So, whatever the reasons the intruder reached the WH, racism on the part of Secret Service agents is not a reason.

Facts are such racist things when they expose race-baiters' malice and paranoia.

Let's consider a very realistic hypothetical case. What if, in 2005 at the height of LaSheehan's media-hyped fame, Pennsylvania Avenue had been closed, or a perimeter of Secret Service agents had been stationed 10 or 20 yards back from this fence. How much MSM, D, Lib, Prog, and DU hysterical howling over Bush's police state would there have been?!

And I'll make a prediction right now - if it is determined he is Hispanic, the reasons for his action will be pinned solidly on the Republicans for not embracing the Democrat's amnesty plan.

Jackson didn't become President for another 35+ years, and IIRC, TR was out of office in 1912, though he was a third party Presidential candidate that year. That said, Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, JFK, and Reagan were all "white". The Secret Service is made up of fallible human beings, and it sounds like they may not have been as effective/efficient these past several years as they have in the past. BUT as serious as this incident was, the Obamas were out of DC when it happened. The Obamas' security was not breached, and their lives were not the least in danger from this character.
