The big lie discovered right there on freerepublic.

Too bad for the primitives.

Yep. I remember the attempt to salvage the lie. "Fake but accurate." nobody bought it.
and Dan Rather, mild mannered news man, went down hard(along with Kerry)!

That was sweet.

What a great few months!

We had Rathergate, the Swiftboaters, and W's reelection in the glorious autumn of 2004.

And then we had Andyscam and Fitzmas in 2005.

Oh, for another year like that!

Wow.

Only three of us remember this?

To think, if such a thing had happened before the internet, before conservatives and Republicans had a platform from which to give a fair and balanced perception on the news, Dan Rather and the Democrats, liberals, and primitives would've gotten away with it.

It makes one wonder how many other lies they told, deceptions they carried out.....and got away with.

I'll bet it's lots.

Imagine the shit they get away with that nobody hears about.

It's impossible to keep up with this crooked administration and their anonymous bureaucratic cronies.

Case in point, the Bork hearings only carried on PBS if I remember correctly.
What dead fat Ted did there was despicable.

Oh man, how well I remember that, although it was something I only read, not heard.

Vast Teddy was evil there; before then, I'd never imagined a United States senator could be so blatantly malicious.

Of course, since knowing the primitives the past fourteen years, I've become more realistic.

I'm sure that Teddy is getting his desserts for that one. :fuelfire:
