I have had pulled back muscles several times, colds, flu, minor broken bones, pretty good cuts and bruises and worked everyday.....the gravy train doesn't run through my town.....at least not for me.
Well, there was that time when I had, as the doctor said "A major, major heart attack." I was in ICU for 10 days and the doctors didn't want to let me out. They finally said that if I had someone to stay with me around the clock, they would release me. I got my niece to come get me and tell them she was going to look after me. When we got home I thanked her, got in my truck and went to the job my fellows were working on.

Then there was my crazy uncle, god I loved him. He had by-pass surgery and after 3 or 4 days they let him out with instructions not to do anything at home, just sit around. When he got home, a nephew was there to greet him. Uncle asked where he was headed with the boat. He said that he was going fishing so uncle told him, "Let me get my stuff, I'm going with you."
