Does it matter how often a President golfs? [View all]
It seems like it did back when Bush was President, but nowadays not so much.

What gets me is how the primitives tend to think that if someone's banned, he's dead, gone forever, slung loose of this mortal coil.

It's just the internet; some particular screen-name's banned from a message-board, nothing more than that.

But the primitives act like he's actually, you know, dead now.

Yeah, they are kind of dumb like that.

44. Are you f*****g serious?

Is Obama not allowed a 4 hour break? That's how long an average golf game lasts.

Add the hours he works and it pales im comparison. Bush was criticized for his record breaking vacations.

Big difference but I think you know that.

No, you stupid butthole, Barry is not allowed a four hour break or 186--his actual number of rounds of golf as president--four hour breaks or lavish vacations to Hawaii or Martha's Vineyard because he promised the American people that he wouldn't go on vacations or engage in leisure activities.  He's got a job to do and I don't have any patience for his fun and games.

“The bargain that any president strikes with is, you give me this office and in turn my, fears, doubts, insecurities, foibles, need for sleep, family life, vacations, leisure is gone,” Obama said. “I am giving myself to you.”

Obama went on to say that “the American people should have no patience for what’s going on in your head because you’ve got a job to do” and that people should only run for president if they’re willing to make that sacrifice.

When asked by the host if he could imagine himself making that kind of commitment, he said, “Sure.”

Reagan got slammed by the MSM and Ds every time he "vacationed" in Santa Barbara. G. H. W. Bush got slammed by the MSM and Ds every time he "vacationed" in Kennebunkport. G. W. Bush got slammed by the MSM and Ds every time he "vacationed" in Crawford. The Clintons vay-cayed all over the world, and the MSM said ... nothing. The Obamas have vay-cayed all over the world - sometimes just Mooch-chelle and their girls - and the MSM have said ... nothing.

So the first, huge, hole in the moral equivalency claim is this MSM double standard.

Next, when Reagan and the Bushes went to their respective properties, it was a fixed place, in which communications and such had been set up so that they could (and pretty certainly did) do their job as POTUS almost as well as if they were in Wash DC (IIRC, a President must be in Wash DC to sign or veto a bill; if my memory is wrong, then forget about the "almost"). Clinton and Obama vay-cays have been jet-setting, with no destination owned by the Clintons and Obamas, and none repeated. That means that their ability to function as POTUS while wherever was impaired. Big! Difference!

So the claimed moral equivalency is false, almost to the degree of being ridiculous.

Of course, facts contradicting Libs' and Progs' narrative are to be ignored.

Yeah, really...  (BTW, we have a  :rimshot:)

My stepson is a car salesman, used and otherwise, he doesn't lie, but he does have to deal with DUmmies, working very close to a major university.

He's noticing it's just not the students getting "stupidier and stupidier" every year, the profs are too!
