History as I was taught in public schools and my Church was nothing like the next generation was told.
We who were born after the war were told that The world was so horrified by what was done by the AXIS people for their own sanity either did what they could to help or flat out refused to believe it.
Then there was the world wanting to give the victims a home land of their own. Problem was no other country wanted to give up one foot of their land for them to rebuild their lives.
In comes England that finds a good way to ease the war debt and become hero's.
England had a very small piece of property that was draining their coffers dry. No resources to tap into, but how to get rid of the property and save face and much money.
This place was nothing but sand dunes a real waste land. The thinking at the time was if this place was given to the Jews there was the end of any problem with the pesky Jews that were causing collective gilt around the world.
So set down thousands of survivors in a god forsaken hell hole and let the Arabs finish them off-----end of problem. Thousands of the survivors of the camps-----ever really look at the photos of what was done to these humans, they had little chance of survival
in this Hell on Earth.
I do not think the Arabs who had fought the Brits for years had any idea of settling down to live on that land, they just as the people of Allah did not like being told what to do when they came to town occasionally to water the camels. So they drove the Brits nuts with attacks costing the Crown a fortune with no return on the money.
Surprise !!! The first settlers were to some measure bat shit crazy from their experiences, worked 24/6 to build a country. The world held many wealthy Jews and Christians that wanted to be a part of history. Educated they poured in from all over the world and as the world watched the desert began to bloom, our church for just one sent money every week to plant a few trees in the Holy Land.
So the war went on from day one with to every ones wonder the females learned to field strip a machine gun at 14 years old.---------Remember DR. Ruth, she at 4' 8"

An amazing country, amazing people and the Muslims just sat and watched as the land changed right before their eyes. Jealousy and greed set in early and now today after less then a century a fantastic country has arisen from the dead earth.
Just in case the Crazy Muslims decide to throw a Nuke on Israel , they will get back the land as it was before the Jews came, totally worthless and even deader then in times past. Radio activity will make the land off limits for even their most Holy Shrines.
