What People Choose to Dream About: Sex and Flying
Trying to fly and having sex are the two most popular activities that lucid dreamers — people who are aware that they are dreaming, and can control their dreams to a certain extent — aim to do in their dreams, according to a new study.
The researchers surveyed about 570 people who said they've experienced lucid dreaming, and asked them what they've dreamt about, and whether they just observed their dreams unfolding or they actively aimed to change the dream. The researchers also asked the participants which activities they decided — when they were awake — to try to do in their dreams.
About 350 of the participants provided examples of the actions they planned in wakefulness to accomplish in their lucid dreams. Most often, participants wanted to try things that are impossible in waking life, such as flying, doing magic, breathing under water, talking with animals, being someone else and time travel.

My sexual dreams are only that some man wants me but we never have sex...
I never fly, but I do swim alot...
My dreams that are lucid usually include water...and scary water..
the last one a day or two ago was I was shopping but my two friends and I had to stay afloat in the ocean..I had a special key which I dropped, and because it was the ocean could never be retrieved...but, I did not let it go to the ocean floor...a very deep ocean...but we shopped and got in our car and drove away.

3. I often fly in my dreams.
Also, I often realize that I am dreaming when I am dreaming and will stand up to any threats or disturbances. Many times I will have a dream visiting people that I know (in the dream) and wind up flying away. Last night ( day. I sleep in the day because of my job) I dreamed of helping to rebuild the houses of many people. There was only one where I declared that the house needed a new foundation.
I am thankful for my dreams as they guide me; other times, show me I'm doing the right thing.
Okay now, as some here know, flying is one of franksolich's favorite dreams; I have such dreams pretty often, but not often enough.
Usually they start off with my coming out the front door of this place, and instead of going down the steps to the ground, I leap off, and upon hitting the ground, bounce back up.
And suddenly I find that I can fly, soar, float, ride, through the air.
What's remarkable is how effortless it is.
I then spend a great deal of time showing off to other people, "I can fly! I can fly! I can fly!"
Sometimes though, the people on the ground below me are primitives, with ugly angry mugs, shaking their fists and hurling invectives at me. "You can't fly! You can't fly! It's impossible, it's woo! You can't fly!"
Now, because I'm deaf, I can't hear what they're saying, and so coast down lower so as to "read" the primitives.
In my eagerness to hear what the primitives are yelling, I crash into a tree.
