The Pull-A-Part in Columbia, SC sells mufflers for $13.
She actually probably needs it for cat veterinary bills.
I have a problem with her way of thinking. She's an old woman, surely to be sprung loose of this mortal coil in less time than the reasonable life-expectancy of a domesticated cat.
Which means when she kicks off, the cat, or cats, will have to be sent to another home, and maybe it won't be a good one.
I could be wrong, but I believe she currently has two
kittens.
They're likely to outlive her; isn't she concerned about what's going to happen to them?
Myself, I'm considerably younger than her, but I already have a policy of taking in only animals "middle-aged" or older, no young ones. This way, such pets aren't likely to outlive me, and I won't be haunted on my own death-bed, "Oh my God, what's going to happen to my pets?"
If this primitive wants pets, the most humane thing she can do is adopt
only old ones, leaving others with more years and decades of life ahead for them (potentially; one never knows) to take in the "cute little babies."
