I suppose I'll just have to settle for a "contact" buzz and live vicariously through my online friends.

What's your poison this evening my friends?

Someone suggested I try the new Bud Lights with Lime. I am going to take up that suggestion in a bit.  :hyper:

BIL had a Miller Chill last night that I took a few drinks from.  Not too bad.  Of course this is the same man who after having that started on several PBR's, the ultimate redneck beer for the ultimate redneck!   :p
I've actually tried both the Miller Chill and Bud Light with lime I prefer the bud light with lime. :cheersmate:

I'm outta beer and cigarettes  ...  send replacements!

I got replacements after the storms blew through.  it was nasty here this afternoon.

I spent a good chunk of the day laying by the pool and splashing the kids. I have yet to even get originals yet reinforcements.

What's going on tonight, WE?

same old, same old.  went by work this afternoon, talked to my folks, and now I am halfway into my case of miller lite while watching my beloved dodgers.  (who I hate right now) :-)

Meh, still not a bad night. I'm on my first one...it's good. Kudos to the individual who recommended this little slice of heaven!

I have enough beer to get the through the night.  With an infusion of processed sugar (Sour Patch Kids), I should be okay.

I have to be careful tonight. :( I work early tomorrow, but I'll enjoy this beer, and maybe a second one.

Ain't that the pits! I was born in Kansas. Every time I go "home" I have to get used to the fact you can't buy beer or booze on Sunday. If you forget on Saturday it can really put the brakes on football Sundays!

I am from mississippi.  we could buy beer on sundays, but very little else.  the "blue laws" were a little strange. :-)

beer was considered "food", as I understood the situation then.

That's why I always buy beer in bulk.  'course, it usually means I wind up buying the cheap stuff, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.  Or something like that.

Fiddle-de-damn!  It's pouring down outside and it's already after 10 pm here.  Crap!
Debate over!  I'm home bound!  If I got out in this mess I'd either float or my sugary sweetness would lump up!

As for the peer pressure ...
I rise above and you have no effect on me!

Okay, Blue Moon is done.  That really was a very tasty brew, I have to say.   I'll definitely buy a case sometime soon.   :-)

Next beer:  Sam Adams Honey Porter.

Yep! Whenever I'm back in good 'ol Council Grove, I buy my whiskey by the case! I never run out, and usually make sales on Sunday's!  :-) :-)

My gag reflex works just fine, let me put it that way.  :(   It has this aftertaste that just...ugh...makes me a little nauseous.

If people want a good SA specialty beer, I'd say go with the Cherry Wheat or Summer Ale.

I was actually worried about the Summer Ale, as it has a lemon zest.  I was very surprised by how good it was.

And I suggest you try it before summer ends.  Octoberfest is the next SA seasonal beer up (for the fall)... and I can't wait.   :-)
