I joined this board back in 2003. In those days it was interesting and fun here. You could agree or disagree on a subject and discuss it rationally and I have changed my mind on many of my political views.

This board has changed over the years I think it started around the 2008 election when if you were not an Obama supporter you were ganged up on. Now people go whining to the jury about someone being hurtful if anyone disagrees with them.

We have these groups where you have to agree on everything or you are not wanted. If someone makes a comment they don't agree with a snarky reply is made about spelling or grammar. Hey I am sorry I wasn't able to get a college education, I had to go to the army after high school and had to go to work for a living when I got out.

So anyway I see no point in posting here anymore and am calling it quits. I know there will be some that say don't let the door hit you in the ass, well you can kiss it. To the others live long and prosper.

This whole OP is a single impossible-to-read block of text. I edited a little. But hey, the DUmmy wasn't able to get a college education. That's his excuse for semi-literacy.

We may have seen this DUmmy docnumbers around before, but if so, he's boring as hell because with fifteen thousand posts he's still a faceless, anonymous, very, very minor DUmmy.

All they do is ban each other.  How stupid and childish is this?  It's such a mark of the left, banning and silencing people, it's all over the college campuses.  Why not talk and discuss like normal people?

I've left my share of discussion sites since 1997, but I don't do whiny melodramatic exits. They accomplish nothing, and become easy targets for mockery. Sort of like this thread. Just move on to a place that is to your taste - or take a rest - and be done with it!

Ahhh...witness the power of effective moling! Since we are the only ones who bring out the obvious and can actually provide a point of view that can be rationally discussed, it upsets the DU elite and hence the heavy MIRT presence.
