120. What a beautiful tribute from his wife... sorry to hear that such an incredible

person's life was cut short... RIP, sir, you will not be forgotten.

DUmmies quickly forget even their dead stars, like dear murdered Andy and the aforementioned ThomWV.

This obscure waste of skin has already been forgotten.

Looks like he was one of the last DU2 holdouts.  Check out this thread featuring the Walrus (koo koo kachoo) interacting with some forgettable primitives.

That's a great link (from two years ago).

I gave DU3 a shot yesterday. This morning I saw an interesting (not mine) thread locked...

At the bottom of the OP I find:

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by SidDithers (a host of the General Discussion forum).

What would be the point of posting in a forum where, the minute you start swaying people to your point of view, the discussion can be shut down by an over-the-top troll like SidDithers?

1. Dunno, but I have a feeling this thread will be locked.

This is still a moderated forum. Sort of.

Why do you hide your profile?

All it really needs to show is the date you registered at DU and the number of posts you've made. I never understand why people find any need to hide those things.

2. Back in 2005, I had (by default) everything open including my home email addy....

After some really nasty emails, I locked everything I could.

Next question.

3. You can't get emails simply because your date of registration or actual number of posts show.

Take a look at my profile.

Next explanation.

I haven't even looked there in close to two weeks. And It's been as long since I posted. I don't like III, I don't like where it's gong, I don't like how some of the sleaziest people I have ever 'met' are now the hall monitors there, and quite frankly, we have honest adult discussions here without people alerting on each other like children. The vendetta clique is gone from here. And those of us that remain like it that way.

Be well.

Richard was fond of saying to the wife "honey, I was DUmmy born and DUmmy breed and when I die I will be DUmmy dead". Richard, who according to Richard was "scary smart" came up with the screen name "junkdrawer" one day while watching the wife from behind. As he watched Ms. Junkdrawer bend over to clean the cat box he thought to himself "damm, look at all that "junk in the trunk". A rather dim lightbulb came on and the next thing you know, DUmmy "I'm drunk and only wearing drawers" became DUmmy junkdrawer.

Hence the reason I drive a Mercedes Benz.

I drive a Toyota, but I don't go head-on into oncoming traffic, and I wear my seat belt.  Wearing a seat belt in my GTI, waaay back in 1988, saved my life.  'Blunt-force trauma to the upper body' sounds as if said DUmmie wasn't wearing one, and just trusted the Forester to keep it invulnerable to stupidity.

You'd think the wife would have mentioned a seatbelt if he was wearing it at the time.

Every time I see that commercial on TV, I think about how the people that lost loved ones in one of their cars feel about that.

I'm surprised it hasn't been yanked.  Aside from taste, it also implies that you are somewhat bullet-proof if you drive a Subaru.  In this litigious society, is that a good idea?

I'd like to see Harley Davidson run commercials like that.

They could use some of those great YouTube motorcycle crash videos, and call them "They Died".

A DUmbass has died? That explains why the sun is shining brighter, the air smells sweeter and why I'm that much happier today.

The only good DUmbass is a dead DUmbass. It's just too bad he didn't suffer in pain and agony before passing.

Do you find it easier to take out a primitive when you are wielding one or two S&K wrenches? I would imagine two wrenches would be more efficient, but one wrench would be easier to conceal when the deed has been done.
