Question about the use of 'ignore'.

If I put someone on the ignore list, are they still capable of commenting on my posts?

Cause it seems to me if that's the case, that they can troll the heck out of me, and it'll look like I have no good reply to them.

So will ignore stop them from commenting under my comments, or am I better off simply not using ignore?

1. They can comment on your posts, but you can't see the comments.

Their comments can spawn entire subthreads, too - and you won't see any of it.

And yes, they can troll you, but it's not much fun for them to troll someone who doesn't answer back.

I recommend ignoring people with whom you don't wish to interact, and don't worry about them "trolling" you - they'll look stupid after a while, or give up.

Too bad for the bloody axe primitive.

He doesn't really want to ignore anyone. Just like a good little liberal, he wants to silence someone.

I've never understood their obsession with the ignore button.  It is simply easy enough to just not click on a link of those you don't want to read.

That's what I was thinking.

Actually, my first thought was, in the old days we didn't even have an ignore button. If you wanted to ignore someone you just ignored them.

Hell DUmmie, Obama has all you DUmmies on ignore.

For a while, it was clear that nutcase nadin thought when she put someone on "ignore" they were deprived of seeing her posts.

She would threaten using the dreaded "ignore" function, as if the offender was risking a terrible penalty.

Trying to read and UNDERSTAND one of nad's posts is penalty enough.  She's actually be doing someone a favor if putting them on "ignore" would prevent them from reading her gibberish.

I've never understood their obsession with the ignore button.  It is simply easy enough to just not click on a link of those you don't want to read.

I think it's their nature. They simply don't have enough strength or self confidence to allow thoughts and opinions they don't want to hear enter their precious, immature brains. It's why they try to sifle people who don't think exactly like them. It's why they throw around "racist, sexist, homophobe" because it effectively stops conversations which means they don't have to defend their point of view and don't even have to listen to an opinion that may harm their tender sensibilities. It's why they want to ban things they don't like and have some government agency remove TV networks and radio personalities they don't like.

I think it's hilarious the way they've misinterpreted that ignore button.  They've always thought it meant *poof* the person doesn't exist on the face of the earth anymore.  Tyrannical little shits, aren't they?

I think it'd be kind of fun trolling someone who has you on ignore.  The DUmmie in the OP was right about that.  The victim looks utterly speechless.
