Dummies Discuss Camouflage Of SC Specialty Plates

I have a car for the first time in six years.

These specialty plates are only $30 for 2 years and I will get one of them.

Seeking input. Your opinions may or may not have influence.

But I will read your opinions.

I AM leaning to the "Reason" one at this point.
But all of these are important issues to me.

Choices are; Reason, Trees, Endangered, Painted Bunting, and Share the Road.

1. Had to go with the Tortugas, but also like "Share the Road", would love to see....

Bikes are cool and sharing the road is important, but many don't bike (or bike safely).
I would love to see something in support of public transit!

 If I had a plate like that in Texas, they'd pull me over and arrest me for my plates alone.

4. I'm fairly close to Coastal. It will be OK.
 Most people would just see the flag and not even look past that anyway.

and there was another DUmmy asking the other DUmmies if it was really true that you were supposed to wait at least two weeks between a perm and coloring like her hairdresser had told her. They have to have a consensus on everything.

He lives in Germany, having grown up under affluent circumstances in, I guess, Maryland, Virginia, and New York.  He's about 62 years old, and has a Teutonic wife built like a fortress.

He's in the rare-and-old coin business, which is located in Dallas (and hence his primitive screen-name)--that itself is a reputable place, and I myself have bought four pieces from there, which proved to be exactly as the company promised they'd be, and at a decent price.

But he himself as a person, yeeeech.  His condescension is especially irksome; I'd like him, for once, to make it into the Top DUmmies.

I can understand specialty plates if you got a specialty car. For the everyday car? No way.

Specialty/vanity plates are idiotic.  They say "Look at meeeeeee, aren't I clever?"   New York, for some reason, has two different colored plates.  One is an attractive blue and white.  The other is a hideous "gold" color.  For that, you have to pay a lot more.  Apologies to Carl and BSS if they happen to like it enough to shell out the bucks.

When I replaced my Saturn, I didn't have a choice--the dealership had the gold ones.  My wife's car, OTOH, still has her old blue-n-whites.
