Why don't these asshats ever try this when we are around? It pisses me off that they get away with this with little or no retribution. I'm pretty sure most here share my views on this subject. 

I have been to several local political events, and even if there are idiot protesters, they always mind their manners.

Could be because I live in the part of the country where most of us are still SANE!!!

I truly wish to run into one of these "disrupters"! We would hand them their ass in their hands!

You know, the primitives for really odd reasons equate this with acts of courage by dissidents in other places, other times.

This Swanson TV dinner primitive shouted at George Bush, and all he got was some negative publicity, a great put-down by a gentleman of a president, escorted off the premises, and maybe, or maybe not, some sort of ticket for disruption.

For the primitives, that's "speaking truth to power."

The primitives belong in a playpen; there's no equating their actions with those of authentically courageous and heroic dissidents in other places, other times, many of whom now are known only to God.

The primitives are playing.  The dissidents are, and were, real.

One wonders if the Swanson TV dinner primitive would be "courageous" enough to spout out his Hate in China or North Korea or Venezuela or Cuba or Vietnam or Rhodesia or Iran or Burma or Syria or &c., &c., &c., any socialist paradise of the workers and peasants that the primitives admire so much, where nacht und nebel is still used.

Exactly Frank now if they had to stand up against a tank then I might grant them hero status but all they had to lose at the most, was spending a night in jail and that didnt even happen.

I dunno, Jim was shot in the neck and was paralized from the neck down. His 'Ol lady got him hooked on smack. He ended up drowning in his own vomit while she was high and sacked out. I've been looking for her ever since in order to take her fishin' for great whites.
